FOP Restaurant — Restaurant in Nutter Fort

This was my first visit to this restaurant. It came highly recommended by my neighbor. I had the southern fried chicken platter, and the chicken was delicious, juicy, hand battered with green beans, mashed potatoes, and a biscuit. The size of my meal was impressive. The quality of the food, temperature, and presentation was perfect. The other item we ordered was a steak hoagie with fries. The flavor was good, but the sandwich could have had more filling. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions on their menu favorites. The room we sat in had this great big print of a cabin in the woods, and it was a very inviting and calming photo. I received a lunch Togo order of a chicken panini with an upgrade of fries and an additional side salad. The Panini was tiny and hard as well as contributed to neuropathy after consumption. I addressed these issues with the staff and manager named Michelle and was issued a gift card. All and all I probably will not return to this restaurant and the staff was friendly and helpful. Being the problems at play with this transaction of $25 dollars it seems a bit unfair to the consumer not to honor their purchase when their dislike is with the establishments substances deemed consumable by the general public. The food, service and atmosphere are the absolute best around. The fried chicken basket is above and beyond! In my 60 years, I've never had a fried chicken breast at a restaurant worth eating until here at FOP. Now I'm hooked..It's absolutely phenomenal! Great coating on a moist and flavorful breast.
