FOP — Restaurant in Nutter Fort

Upon entering FOP you notice how clean and spacious the dining room is. The staff is clean and neat. Their menu is about 6 or so pages with everything sounding delicious. After being seated we were almost immediately asked about our drink request. I ordered coffee (which was very fresh ) and my daughter ordered unsweetened tea. To my surprise the waitress also offered me a glass of water . By the way, my waitresses name was Jaron and I also give her 5 stars! We were given plenty of time to look over the menu without being rushed. Now to our meals. I ordered the steak hogie and had my choice of 3 different sauces. I opted for the sweet. My side was homemade potato chips which were almost a sin to eat. They were crisp fried perfection. My hogie was about 4 inches wide stuffed with meat, onions, peppers and covered in melty cheese. So big I didn't even attempt picking it up, just dove in with my fork. Two thick cut crispy dill pickle slices rounded out my main course. My daughter ordered the stacked steak sandwich which covered most of her plate and homemade perfectly seasoned fries with pickle slices. For dessert I opted for BlackBerry cobbler ( hot and delicious ) and my daughter had a slice of decadent dark chocolate cake. Now her is the wow moment for me, when Jaron brought my cobbler , she also brought me a new cup with fresh coffee to compliment my cobbler. Very impressive!!! All this for under 40 dollars. By the way that is pronounced like Erin witha J, Jaron. Request her if you can. One of the best dining experiences...

We stopped for coffee off Interstate 79 and asked there for a good local restaurant and the FOP was recommended. I am so happy we asked. It wasn’t that far of a drive off the interstate and easy to find. Handicap parking was available at 6 PM in front of the building.When we came out the parking lot was full.Service from the moment we walked in until we left was excellent. A wide variety of food selections to choose from. Food was served hot and delicious. You will pay extra for add ons to your baked potato. So definitely ask if ordering that. We had 3 hours until we arrived home so this was a nice relaxing place to eat before heading back on the road. Plenty of space for families and a nice atmosphere. I wish I was a local I would visit here frequently. Thank you to the ladies at the front desk...

It was good. Was disappointed that the fried chicken basket was no longer offered. We had coffee, iced tea, cheese sticks, fish Sammy with home fries and open roast beef with potatoes. Nice portion size. I didn't care for beef. Everyone else like their stuff. There were 2 hostesses/employees out front. 1 left us out front without asking us to follow her so we weren't sure if we were waiting on second girl or not. By the time we were told by the 2 girl to go with the first, she had already placed our silverware and menus on table. Thank god we saw her in the first room bc she was fast. Plenty of parking.
