Consolidated Theatres Pearlridge — Attraction in Oʻahu

this place is by far the worst theater ive been to. its dirty and smells like mold and the seats are nasty and sticky and very very uncomfortable the screens are small and i saw a rip in the screen while i was watching twilight breaking dawn. the popcorn sometimes good alot of times its burnt and stinks. the bathrooms smell like fish and crap and has toilet paper scattered all over the floors and the employees seem to be racist as my girlfriend works there and she has come home crying from the managers picking on her and saying shes not working up to their crappy theaters standards. they gave her crap for her hair not being put up high enough and not taking initiative when ive seen her working and she works at a faster and more efficient rate the other workers. she said she has gotten compliments for her good customer service from actual customers. another thing i hate about this place is its really cold and to me that is a big minus, i like to be warm or normal comfortable temperature atleast while watching the movie i paid for. they also never pick up their phones and they sent my girlfriend home today for being late but she tried calling to let them know but like i said they never pick up the phone. they are so rude! another thing i witnessed is the employees stand around and chit chat and my girlfriend is doing all the work and still being chewed out. dont go to this place! the convenience of this place being by our house is not bad but the place itself is so dont waste your time and money going here go to a nicer one look on yelp for the best theaters in hawaii do your research youll be...

You guys are seriously over reacting. It doesn't smell like piss, or stinky socks, or even vomit. Just because their seats aren't as luxurious as the other theaters, or the screen isn't as big. You guys need to understand that they're sharing a thereat WITH A MALL. The staff there are super nice. I try to buy a bottle of water, and they mentioned the price and said that I could bring in my OWN bottle of water. If you noticed, not all theaters do that. At least the staff here tells you the price, because they know it's expensive, and that they're trying to help you out by buying cheaper water. The bathrooms there are by far the CLEANEST bathrooms in the mall. The ones by the food court, and the one on the 2nd floor are absolutely disgusting. And if you guys tried asking the workers there why they don't renovate, it's because THE OWNER of that company doesn't want to pay for it. They said that they were supposed to renovate, but the OWNER DOES NOT WANT TO PAY FOR ANYTHING. You guys are WAY too harsh on this theater, you guys need to understand that the money you spend there, doesn't go to the workers. It goes to the corporate. If you're complaining about the price of the popcorn, then go on a Tuesday. It's 2 dollars. I watched the movie Smile last night and it was honestly the worst experience I had at this movie theater. I would say about 20 kids were in the theater at the time and they were constantly talking throughout the entire movie. And when I say talking I mean full on vocal having conversations and making comments about the movie. I had to tell them to be quiet twice and after that I had to notify staff about their behavior and when they were notified they didn’t do anything about it because they claimed “they didn’t hear anything when they came in” . They came and checked in maybe two times and both times coincidentally the kids weren’t talking . At the end of the movie I realized that none of the kids were accompanied with an adult for a Rated R movie so I don’t even believe they were supposed to be there but that’s not my problem . I had called customer service because I wanted a refund on the movie (no one works at the ticket booth) . I spoke to a manager about coming out and meeting me to give me a refund and no one came out . So I had to speak to one of the concession people about where I can find a manager and luckily I met with one who processed my refund .
