O'ahu Hawaii Tandem Paragliding Flights — Attraction in Oʻahu

This is by far the best thing that I've done on the island and that's from someone who has visited 6 times previously. Doug and his partner Jorge are amazing to say the least. We called on a Friday (2 days before we were supposed to leave) and were able to reach Doug quickly and effortlessly. He answered all our questions, arranged for a time to meet up which accommodated our schedule, and quieted all our fears from two people who are scared of roller coasters and heights! Ya...this business is the only way to do it. We went in the morning at 10 AM, winds were very calm so we hiked up a small mountainside to gain more wind for the flight. Takeoff was effortless--a simple, few steps forward...you get pulled back slightly, back peddle fast, then jog forward like a run way! Trust me...if you are scared, your fears are unwarranted. We glided, literally glided off of the launch point...YOU DO NOT HAVE TO JUMP OFF!!! Once in the air, we gained altitude and looked at all the coral reef and beautiful views below us. Jorge and Doug took us all over, even gliding right by Deadman's Catwalk which we had just hiked that morning! The pictures were so worthwhile so definitely invest in that. Best money spent on a vacation. I will always paraglide from now on...it's the only way to go!!! Thanks Doug and Jorge. My girlfriend and I had the time...

My friend and I had the pleasure of being flown by two of the friendliest and skilled pilots in Hawaii. I rode with Jorge and he checked in periodically to see how I was feeling during the flight. He was very courteous and made sure I had an exciting time without feeling nauseous.

Looking back, it's hard to gauge how long the flight was since we varied the intensity and movement of the flight. There were some very relaxing times where I could just look out over the crystal clear ocean and take in the whole scene. But my favorite part was at the end when Jorge offered to show me some tricks and flips in the air. I was blown away and instantly screamed from the exhilarating sensation of flying upside down and rolling in mid-air like a roller coaster. It honestly felt like I was 10 again, riding my first roller coaster.

When I come back to vacation in Hawaii, I'll be sure to call these guys again for another...

I went paragliding with Doug today for my 30th birthday and it was AWESOME!! I always see people paragliding when I go to the lighthouse and I've always wanted to try it. Doug was an amazing instructor; he was able to explain everything super clearly, he was very patient with all my questions, and of course safety was his first concern. The views were absolutely breathtaking, I could not stop smiling and the peace I felt up there was really surreal. Doug also managed to capture some very sweet pictures and videos. I'm not an impulsive person and this was an impulsive last minute decision, but one I do not regret at all. I very much recommend doing this, especially with Doug! I also really liked that he let me fly and explained how the wind worked while we were up there. Thanks Doug, and...
