Stars Above Hawaii — Attraction in Oʻahu

Aloha! If you're looking for an awesome stargazing experience with someone who knows their stuff, look no further than Greg from Stars Above Hawaii! I was really looking forward to this experience after meeting up with Greg near the beach at Aulani during the latter part of one of his events. I learned about another stargazing event on my birthday and signed up immediately at the Four Seasons which is where he was having it that night. It was last week and it was epic. From the moment I arrived (early since I was eager lol) and when we started the experience, Greg was knowledgeable and educated us on everything we were seeing, from Jupiter, to Mars, to Uranus, to Sirius, to Capella, to Betelgeuse to the Green comet to the nebula and small stars, everything was epic and I really enjoyed it. I would do this again in a heartbeat and I highly recommend it. I love astronomy and talking and learning more about what's out there! Thank you...

We hadn’t plan on booking the star gazing session when we first arrived at Aulani, but after we heard from some other guests about their experience and overheard the session as we were walking by one night, we knew we couldn’t miss out on this. We chased Greg down at a neighbouring hotel and got lucky that there was space that evening. Super knowledgeable and I love how excited he is talking about the stars 💫 Super kid friendly! He asks the kids questions and they can answer. I love how he uses his laser pointer to help show what he is talking about. I can’t recommend this experience enough! I see other mentions of the moon in other reviews, but, sadly, there was no moon in sight for us, and we learned why :) it was pretty cool seeing Saturn, star clusters, and double star, and learning how to people use to use the stars to navigate...

As a fellow Solar System Ambassador, I could not miss the chance to see the Stars Above Hawaii, especially during the peak of Geminids meteor shower. Greg was awesome! He is very knowledgeable and his laser pointer made it possible for everyone to locate what he was talking about in the sky.

We looked at the moon, stars, planets, and galaxies. My favorite was Saturn. It's the first time I've see Saturn through a telescope and it blew my mind to see the rings and 4 of its moons. While we were taking turns looking through his telescope, he had a Unistellar Smart Telescope connected to an iPad that we could see as well.

We had a great time and at the end he sent everyone the photos that his smart telescope had taken. I highly recommend Stars Above Hawaii to anyone who...
