Really perfect little spot. We were coming to the west side on perfect to escape the high winter wings on the east side Laie area where we are staying. We had planned to go up to Makaha but the drive was too far and the kids were getting jumpy. Decided to try paradise cove and so glad we did. It’s totally peaceful and calm water a huge difference from east side. The mountains shelter it from the wind so it’s just a quiet warm cove beach. It’s really small but it doesn’t matter because there is sand, rocks with tide pools to explore, a stream to follow, fish and turtles to see and shallow calm water.

Parking is tricky as some other reviews mention. Basically when headed past paradise cove luau the parking lot is a tiny tiny section of their parking lot — maybe room for no more than 15 cars or so. You’ll see several cars waiting in line for other people to leave so they can have a spot. Not ideal.

We actually went to island vintage coffee in the parking center across the street and that gave us 3 hrs parking (Grey area, but we went with it since we visited some of the businesses in the area) so we walked over on foot. I agree I don’t think i saw a public bathroom so plan accordingly.

Awesome beach! We are burnt to...

God created this beautiful and natual oceanwater swimming pool!

Please note: Parking is limited(only 12 spaces) and No public restrooms

Please, NOTE FOR FAMILY WITH KIDS UNDER 5~7 THIS IS THE SPOT FOR 🤿 SNORKELING FOR SEEING GREEN TURTLE, MONK SEALS

Yes, there is limited parking spaces and no restrooms but my waiting was worth it!

I am a daddy of 2 girls - 5 and 3 years. They wanted to stay more and more... We stayed there 6 hours!

My family got ther 10:30 And around 11 we had to stop palying and get out of the water, because the Hawaiian Monk Seals appeared in our playing area!

My recommendation, Pack your lunch Be there early as possible If you can wait for parking(free), you will get priceless experience for your children There are some tree shades but, umbrella would help you when sunny (I was there March 2022, sun with cloud 87. beach chairs, swim tube, boogie board, snorkeling equipment will be helpful

Hope you have fun...

We celebrated our 6 year anniversary last night and it was such a great experience! You could tell so much planning and coordination went into ensuring every guest had a great time. We were a party of two with a table for 5 all to ourselves and socially distanced.

The server quickly brought everyone their drinks and the buffet portions were platted already due to COVID. But honestly was plenty food for me.

There is sand throughout the area. Many people wore sandals and wedges. The sunset was beautiful as were the performances. I guarantee there’s not a bad seat in the house.

It was honestly worth the money. As a local it would be fun to bring friends visiting to. And we even saw the stars...
