Awesome water park, the 2018 remodel is superb. 5 stars.
Lifeguards are very attentive, I'm truly impressed with their commitment to safety. Every life guard deserves 10 stars.
Major deficit - accessibility is horrible for anyone with mobility issues. I walk unassisted but am restricted by distance/grade/terrain due to a congenital issue. All handicapped / accessible parking is only 6 spaces in the upper lot with a reaallly long steep ramp - or a steep long flight of stairs. The other accessible spaces are down a long steeper hill and on the far side of that parking lot - I discovered it's a reaaaaally reaaaaally long hike up a horribly steep hill to the water park when the upper lot is full. I nearly passed out - there's absolutely no where to stop n sit to recover. I literally could not get back to my vehicle and needed a ride to my vehicle in "Accessible Parking" - fortunately I had met up with friends at the water park. We discovered there's no flat place to load, he had to block the road with his flashers on a steep grade so I could get into his vehicle. Highly dangerous as there's a bend in the road, it's a steep hill and cars race down the hill uncontrolled like a speedway. The only other option I would have had was to summon an ambulance or something. If you need to load/unload a wheelchair user and can't handle the long steep ramp - a manual wheelchair, walker, or crutches for example - expect to block the entire roadway until they install a loading zone (there should be ample room by the front gate). These are MAJOR FAILS on the part of the City...
Read moreMe & my family go here every year & at least 2 to 3 times a week . Yesterday as we we’re there Saturday 7-6-19 a child had had a loose bowel movement in the pool . On one of the logs . The pool that u walk across the logs & ropes above it . For kids They shut it down but it took them 20minutes to a 1/2 hour to clean it . I can’t believe they allowed their young workers to go in this part of the pull . To me this should of stayed closed for it was unsanitary to use , be in it ! Then we decided to go in the Lazy river & as we r getting in there again was stool from a child having a bowel movement. This was not loose as the other pool . Instead of closing down the Lazy river they kept it open . Again this was very unsanitary. We reported this to the cashier & was told it was cleaned & ok to go back in the water . No this was not ok to go back in the water . The chemicals would take longer to work . To the parents that allowed their child to do this & especially not reporting it how rude & disgusting on their part ! I am taking this further & will no longer use this pool . We paid to get in on top of my guest that paid $17 & couldn’t enjoy our day& stay...
