10/2025 We checked in with the hostess for a table for 9 or 10 on the patio. She told us it would be about 45 minutes for a table but we could start in the bar area and we’d receive a call when a table was available. We found 2 small tables in the bar area and anticipated the bartender waiting on us. He did not come to us so a couple of us went to the bar and ordered something to drink and after about 45 minutes we went to the bar and placed a couple of food orders. After about an hour I went in to check on the status of a table as our group was somewhat scattered and we wanted to be able to sit at least somewhat as a group. The hostess implied that she would call us when the table was ready and I observed that there were a couple of empty tables. I asked how our food orders would be handled when we moved. She did not know and referred me to the manager and pointed him out. I caught up to the manager and he said they would work it out. After about another 15-20 minutes we’d all received our orders but had never heard from the hostess and several tables on the patio in the same area were open. After finishing our meals my daughter went and spoke to the hostess mentioning that she had never called us for us to move to the patio area where our group could sit more together. She acknowledged never calling but offered no explanation for her failure to do so. As the food is mediocre, the service less than satisfactory and the communication awful we may never return. We had great hopes for this restaurant having really enjoyed it when it was McGurks but the food has never been as good as McGurks and we are extremely disappointed after this...

This was a hard decision ,to leave a review or to let it pass. I want so badly for this place to thrive. So hopefully the criticism finds the right person and is managed correctly so that 2 stars turn into 5. We started at the bar . Drinks- Amazing Customer Service-Amazing 10/10 across the board. We sat on patio. Atmosphere - Amazing

The place is VERY quiet, I almost felt like our group was disturbing the establishment.

We ordered appetizers Fried Green Tomatoes - Very Good , unlike any that I have had Buffalo Cauliflower- also good, I only wish all sauces were on side as the cauliflower got soggy very quickly Wings- mild ( sauce was pretty hot) but I like that All sauces served on the side and not tossed, not my favorite Bacon cheese fries- Good, gets soggy real quick Pretzel - Awesome The appetizers came out with the entrees…. Not a big deal food is tasty. Server was amazing Burger- hockey puck ( could barely pull apart) the inside meat could crunch into dust.

Bourbon Brined Pork chop- the brine is not noticeable. I think the grill needed to be cleaned because the only thing you taste was charr. The description was mouth watering but execution was failed. Sweet potatoes with charred marshmallows , honey thyme glaze and cornbread topping. Sounds wonderful, no marshmallows the cornbread topping tastes like crushed croutons and it’s wildly sprinkled all over the plate. The pork chop and burger is a 2/10

I WILL be back. I liked the way the menu looks and the place is awesome. I just hope this helps you wow the community as I hate leaving...

From the start, new bartender, he was very nice and accommodating, but we were a party of 2 and only ones there. Appetizer was over cooked and way too expensive for deep fried tomatoes (5 slices, basically 1 large tomato) $13. Ordered grilled chicken sandwich lunch special, which was reasonable around $12.00, but was not flavorful and tough!!! Would not suggest if you want flavor. Asked for bacon jam to be added to sandwich, but minimal was slapped on chicken. Cheese grits were terrible!!! No flavor whatsoever, but at least they weren't runny. 1 beer for a total of $30+ with tip. Luch for 2 - 1 cocktail, 1 beer, 2 lunch menu items and 1 app. around $60.+ with tip. Limited menu overall and very limited lunch special menu. Friend ordered hamburger off lunch menu with cajun tots (which were super salty and not so cajun, I thought), they said it was good. They were crisp which I liked. Love the looks of the inside of this bar/restuarant!!! Arrived around 2:30 pm, place was empty left around 5 pm, had a few addt'l patrons arrive as we were leaving. We were there middle of the week. Thought menu pricing was too high for food quality and quantity. Parking is behind and on one side of bldg. and would be difficult for person with cane. They have a beautiful outside terrace area on one side of bldg. Was not happy with food, but I usually give a place 2 tries before I...
