Trey Davis Loudon County Sheriff's Office
Deciding to start my journey of training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Resolute Martial Arts & Fitness was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my profession. I am a former U.S. Army Infantryman and currently serve as a patrol deputy at the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office and a team leader on the Loudon County Swat Team. Training at Resolute has opened my eyes to a new world of training. The training has given me more confidence in my job by controlling my emotions and helping me remain calm during stressful situations. Cody Jordan and his fellow instructors have done an amazing job teaching me new skills that assist me when dealing with a non-compliant suspect while on the job. The techniques help me respond in an appropriate way to control the suspect and to make a scene safe for the community. Aside from assisting in my profession, Resolute Martial Arts has shown me an amazing community to which I am forever grateful to Cody Jordan. Resolute Martial Arts is filled with amazing people who are motivated and are truly invested in seeing you succeed in all forms of...

The owner, Cody, is one of the kindest and most dedicated individuals I’ve met. They genuinely care about each student’s progress, no matter their age or skill level, and you can tell they are like family.
The classes are well-structured and fun, with a perfect balance of discipline and encouragement. It’s clear that the instructors are passionate about what they do, and they make learning martial arts feel both empowering and enjoyable. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, you’ll find a supportive community here.
What really stands out is how much Cody goes above and beyond to create a positive environment. They’re not just teaching martial arts; they’re teaching confidence, respect, and perseverance. I feel incredibly lucky to have found this studio for my son and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to start or continue their martial...
Read moreI have known Cody for several years, but switched to his school so that I would be able to train more than I had been. I have trained in BJJ on and off since 2015, and have trained with a lot of great people on my journey.
The very first day I started training at Resolute, we were training leg locks. The entire class was training leg locks, not just the upper belts! There are only a handful of schools in the area that will do this!
I have been training at Resolute for around 6 months now. Cody and his instructors are great teachers. They're very knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely want you to leave better than when you came in. They have an extremely positive culture.
The morning instructors are great guys as well, and they continue the positive outlook, they're extremely skilled, and you can't help but leave better than when you arrived. Tired too!
This school has folks training close to 7 days a week and is great for anyone from hobbyist to competition training.
