BEST. RIDE. AT. EPIC. By far!!!! Stardust Racers is an out-of-this-world, high flying adrenaline rush of a roller coaster! If you even slightly enjoy a good roller coaster this is a MUST try. We went on a preview day so they only had one side running- but this is a roller coaster that has 2 separate tracks that run at the same time, reminiscent of the old dueling dragons coaster that used to be in Harry Potter world at Islands of Adventure (IYKYK). I am so happy they brought back a “dueling” type coaster. I can only imagine the fun it’ll be once both sides are up and running. Everything about this coaster is truly epic (yes, pun intended). It is high-velocity without being too rough. and giving you whiplash, it goes upside down but in a way that’s easier to handle, it has a couple acceleration parts, and all good fun that makes your eyes water, hair get messed up, and leaves a big grin on your face by the end. Seriously, standing in line every time a car came back after riding all the riders were in such high spirits and so happy. When you get into line, bring your backpacks and stuff with you- like the Velocicoaster in Islands of Adventure, they have lockers in the queue that you set your stuff in. And, they used facial recognition so you don’t even have to worry about keeping your pass with you. After that, you do have to go through a metal detector as well just as an extra precaution. I have heard that each track of this coaster is slightly different, so it will be so fun to try out both sides, and definitely something you want to keep in mind when coming to ride! You’re missing out if you don’t become a Stardust Racer!

MACK COOKED on this one! I love the dueling aspect! It elevates a great ride to an amazing one! Personally, I think the yellow track is better (to the left from the back of the station where security is) but they're both super great. Definitely a front row ride: there's much more airtime in the front. This ride is also super great because those who aren't as into coasters can also have a great time; the forces aren't too crazy. The only not great thing is the roughness. it's not like wooden coaster rough, but it has a noticeable rattle to it. It seems that's the trend with newer coasters these days.... Overall, im pretty impressed with Stardust Racers. Oh and the ops are great too.

Fantastic Coaster with Untapped Capacity Potential

The new roller coaster at Epic Universe Studios is a technical and visual masterpiece – a top-tier product by Mack Rides. The ride experience is dynamic, innovative, and truly exciting.

However, the attraction’s full potential isn't being utilized. While both tracks – the left and right – launch simultaneously, each side operates with only a single train. This means: one train departs, and only after it returns, unloads, and reloads can it depart again.

Because both sides are synchronized and launch at the same time, even a small delay on one side can disrupt the entire dispatch cycle. This leads to unnecessarily long wait times, despite the coaster being designed for high throughput.

If two trains per side were used, one could be loaded while the other is on the track – massively improving efficiency and making better use of the ride’s infrastructure.

It almost seems as though the limited train operation is intentional – possibly to encourage more guests to purchase Express Passes due to the artificially extended wait times.

Conclusion: An outstanding coaster with enormous potential – but the current operation holds back the experience more...

Extremely Unsafe for Young Riders. Please Reconsider the Height Limit.

I’m writing this as a deeply concerned parent. This roller coaster was far more intense than expected, with extremely high speeds and sudden, steep drops. Midway through the ride, my 8-year-old daughter lost consciousness. She fainted and did not wake up until the ride was over. It was one of the most frightening moments of my life.

The current height requirement is not sufficient to protect younger riders from the physical intensity of this attraction. I urge park officials to re-evaluate the safety standards and consider raising the height limit. Additionally, the ride preview photos never appeared at the end, possibly because of how she looked while unconscious.

Please take this seriously. No child should ever have to experience this, and no parent should have...
