On October 11th, my family and I went to dinner at a new restaurant called Atlantic, which is located in Universal Studios Orlando at the Epic Universe Park. I ordered the Grilled Atlantic Salmon, my mom ordered the Sea Scallops, my youngest sister ordered the Bucatini alla Adriata, which is a shrimp pasta meal, my other sister ordered the All Natural Bone-In Chicken Breast, and my dad ordered the Atlantic Filet Mignon. Since salmon is one of my favorite meals, I had really high expectations for my dish, and they didn’t disappoint. Usually I don’t like the skin on my salmon, but they cooked it so crispy, I couldn’t even tell it was there. The sides were also seasoned perfectly, with small bite-sized potatoes and a combination of corn, peas, and tomatoes. Although I can’t speak in detail for the rest of my family, everything was cooked perfectly and they each enjoyed their meals! If you are walking around the park, the restaurant is very easy to see. It is large and near the center, so it wouldn’t take long to find it if you were looking for it. The surrounding area and the restaurant itself are both very well presented, from the nice shrubbery to the decorated front of the restaurant. This restaurant has mostly seafood-inspired cuisine, but also other choices for people who aren’t seafood lovers. Since it is located in the Universal park, you aren’t expected to dress nice because most people are coming from walking around and riding rides all day. However, this restaurant is a nice place, with prices from the 30-50 dollar range, which is relatively expensive. Universal is well known for their ambiance and this place didn’t disappoint. It has large, glass windows that show off the pool of water outside, along with decorative and colorful fish that hang from the ceiling and move slowly through the restaurant. While I can’t recall our server’s name, the service was great! The food came out in about 30 minutes, which for how busy it was, wasn’t a long time. Any requests that we had were immediately taken care of and overall our server was very kind and cooperative. This restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, from 11am to 10pm. The only advice I can give is I feel like they could include more meal options, especially for a seafood place, they only had one kind of fish. They do have a very broad specialty drink selection and some good choices of dessert. Overall, my family and I really enjoyed our visit here and would definitely recommend it to someone who wants a nice dinner after a long day at...

Honestly you can have great food and atmosphere but if the service is substandard for the venue it ruins the overall experience. I wish I could put 5 stars which is disappointing when it comes to service. We checked in about 25 mins early for our 6:15 birthday reservation on September 26th. The restaurant was not very busy. We waited for about 20-25 mins to be seated but enjoyed the stunning restaurant design, park views, and AC. Liana was our hostess who brought us to our seats and was very welcoming. Showed a real interest in our visit to the park and we had a very nice interaction with. Our server Kristi D. was just ok. Kristi acknowledged our birthday celebration on her first approach but never again after that. Our drinks took longer than they should have based on business levels. As a 30 year professional in the hospitality industry I understand the situations that can get in the way of good service. We both had a cocktail and individual appetizers and shared an entree. When our main pasta dish was served it was placed in the middle of the table without any inquiry asking if we needed anything else. A man with a headset and dress shirt served the plate. After waiting we finally got another servers attention and asked for share plates and pasta spoons as we ordered the Bucatini. Which was delicious. The manager Justin did a check in with us and he was very thoughtful and receptive to our situation and apologized for our dining mishap. We complimented the dishes we enjoyed and Justin offered to treat us to a dessert. Even though our server new it was my guests birthday I felt she served the dessert somewhat begrudgingly without a candle or any Happy Birthday sentiment. As the host I was very disappointed and chose not to make another fuss diminishing our experience. I left a nice tip because I'm in the business and its hard for me not to. Was reflective of who I am as a person and not the service. Liana was wonderful and the best in hospitality of our overall experience. Warm welcoming and took a wonderful photo of us outside the restaurant. Thank you Liana we will enjoy the photo for years to come! Although it would have been nice to have a birthday photo with a candle. Our visit to the Atlantic was all about my guests birthday only to be foiled...

After a full day of fun, our family—three generations deep—was ready for a good meal. What we got was something far beyond that. I was there with my son, my wife, and my parents, and Atlantic delivered a dinner that turned into a core memory for all of us. From the moment we were seated, the service was nothing short of legendary. Captain Ryan—server, entertainer, and all-around hospitality hero—was a tidal wave of excellence. His food recommendations were flawless, but it was the way he connected with my five-year-old son that really stood out. He listened to his jokes, chatted like an old friend, and treated him with a kindness that you can’t fake. And then it happened—my son casually said, “This chicken is tasty—tell the chef,” to our surprise, Ryan brought out Chef Brian himself. Our son was starstruck. Meeting a real chef? Right up there with meeting Donkey Kong in the park. That simple gesture? It meant the world to him—and to us as his family. Not to be outdone, JC—the floor manager and Atlantic’s secret weapon—made sure the entire evening ran like a dream. His attention to detail, authentic warmth, and genuine pride in the experience they deliver made us all feel like royalty. It's rare to see a team so in sync and so committed to creating joy. The food? A reel knockout. Whether it swam, sizzled, or sweetened the table, everything was cooked to perfection and priced surprisingly fairly for such high-quality fare. No misses, just hits—and the dessert sent us floating. We don't live in Orlando Florida, but because of Ryan, JC, and Chef Brian, our multigenerational family dinner turned into one of the brightest highlights of our Orlando trip. From my son to his grandparents, we all walked out smiling. So take it from me: come for the food, stay for the service, and let Atlantic be the final splash on your Epic Universe adventure. It’s not just a restaurant—it’s an experience that spans generations. #fromToronto #ThreeGenerationsOneGreatMeal #EpicDinner #CaptainRyan...

Atlantic is Epic Universe’s “elevated” dining experience option in the park. It feels very grandiose when you walk in and see the beautiful bar that looks over a balcony and stairs leading down to the main dining area that then looks out over the whole park. Want the best dining view at the park? Come to Atlantic. We came during the week for dinner so it wasn’t super busy, but I’d recommend making a reservation ahead of time if you want to eat here. We had a reservation, it wasn’t busy and we still had to wait to be seated. They had a pretty small menu, but all seafood themed as you’d expect from a restaurant called Atlantic. I tried the filet mignon, and it was one of the best pieces of meat I have tried in awhile, just fantastic. It came with some form of layered potato on the side, and having a bite of filet, with potato and the sauce altogether was just chefs kiss. We really enjoyed their seafood pasta as well. And where the food menu is smaller, the drink/ wine menu it probably twice that. Lots of fun options, we didn’t try this time but the bar up top you can sit at and get a drink even if you don’t want to dine in. Our waitress was a super sweet Puerto Rican gal (can’t remember her name sadly) and Alaowei who was the food runner were wonderful and made the experience a lot better. It still seemed like their service could become a little more efficient considering it wasn’t super busy when we came. And because it’s higher tier dining, the prices more than reflect that. The food was at least enjoyable so the money wasn’t wasted, but definitely just something we wanted to try for the experience and wouldn’t be willing to pay real often. However, if you want a fun and exquisite dining experience underwater with the acrylic fish overlooking the park, you got it right here.

I booked this restaurant just out of curiosity because I have heard a lot of people talked about how good the food really is at this place. The atmosphere was very nice and well-themed. The price of the food is on a pricey side for the amount of food they give you. Starting from the Sweet Corn Chowder. I wanted to love this dish, but it was so bland. I do not recommend this at all. Next is the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, very delicious. A must try! Next, I ordered the Tomato Burrata. I didn't like this one as the tomatoes had a bitter aftertaste to it. Next is the Sweet & Spicy Shrimp, very delicious. This is another dish you must try. For entrees, I ordered the Captain Fernando’s Half-Pound Lobster Roll. This was a very very good lobster roll, but I expected more food for $48. I also got the Seared Scallops. This dish was also delicious. The scallops were cooked perfectly. For desserts, I got Piña Colada Panna Cotta. I rate this one 100/10 - best dessert in the restaurant in my opinion. Next, I tried the El Pulpo (deconstructed cheesecake). It was decent, but I wouldn't get it again. I also ordered the Landlubber’s Snickerdoodle Loot for my daughter. Don't expect this one to be delicious. I think the whole purpose of this dish is just to keep kids occupied until the end of the meal. Still well-themed and edible though. Kids would love it. As for the specialty drink, I ordered the Aranciata Mule (mocktail), it was very delicious and refreshing. To summarize, the food was good here and it was worth the splurge. I spent around $300+ for this meal. Tips: this restaurant is famous for seafood, I do not recommend ordering burgers since you can get a decent burgers from anywhere inside the park. Try out their seafood, you won't be disappointed.
