So my first time here we waited more than 25 minutes for food... The coffee and mimosa came out after the food after we had flagged someone down to ask. The food was.....DELICIOUS.
The second time here.. I came with my family and they brought out 5 orders for 6 people. As a patron you assume yours will be on the way. The waitress stood at one end of the table and passed the end people the heavy plates to disperse amongst the table ourselves instead of asking and walking their food over?
After the adults were halfway done with their food I went to ask the guy if my food was still coming, he looked at me like "HUH?" Ok.. so they forgot... No problem. A few minutes later I went to get another item for someone and the guy came to me with the little order book to take my order again. He said "So you wanted what?" At that point, I said forget it because the table was half done.. the kids weren't gonna be able to finish all their food in a timely manner anyway... and then he was arguing with me telling people were still eating. I was like... if you made it already, ill wait. If you haven't , I'm not waiting. It was already at least 40 minutes past when I hard ordered my food and we had kids with us. Not gonna happen. He was all disgruntled and not even an apology was offered for forgetting my order. --- However.. I had some of my nephews left overs from the plate.. and just like that time....
The food was delicious. I could've used bread to sop of every taste on every plate. For the price, and the nice big spacious environment and that both times hasn't been too busy, I'd say it's worth the inconveniences like VERY long wait times and weird service.. because the food is good. I'll give it...
Read moreIt was just before 2PM and we wanted breakfast. That's why we decided to grab a bite to eat here. Seems they are open until 3PM and they serve breakfast every day. The inside dining area has many tables available and I can see them being busy during a brunch weekend in that neighborhood. We ordered cinnamon French toast with banana, a side of bacon and eggs. We also ordered a bacon croissant egg sandwich. For beverages we ordered a chai latte with an espresso shot and a regular latte. The food came out hot and quickly. I do love a breakfast croissant sandwich. The bacon was cooked just the way I like and the yolk was perfectly runny. I didn't try the French toast but my friend ate it up. This place isn't a fancy brunch spot but it's a hangout and they have really good food options for breakfast every day. I'm definitely going to try to go to brunch here...
Read moreSkip this place. I haved lived in the neighborhood for a decade and have given The Vault many a chance. I can safely say the food is VERY bland here. The only halfway decent item here is the eggs benedict. Soups, burgers, all breakfast dishes, all sandwiches, everything is lacking in flavor.
The service here, frankly, sucks. I have received my food well before my drink fairly often. Waitstaff is also very forgetful about items requested of them. They also have an issue with remembering to take your order after seating you. And if you choose to sit outside, you might as well just leave. They are very neglectful of outside seating
The only reason i can think to come here is the 7$ mimosa. They are on the strong side. But that is literally a drop in the bucket against why everyone should...
