There are desserts that satisfy, and then there are those rare, fleeting creations that feel like moments captured in sugar and time. The seasonal cherry pie at Sweet Adeline Bakery is the latter; an edible reverence to summerās brief blush and the quiet artistry of baking done with care.
From the first bite, itās clear this isnāt just a pie; itās a love letter to cherries themselves. The filling is deep and jammy without being cloying, allowing the tartness of the fruit to linger just long enough to wake you up before melting into warm, earthy sweetness. Each cherry tastes handpicked, kissed by sun and rain, and chosen for flavor over appearance.
The crust is a masterpiece of contrast; flaky yet substantial, buttery but never greasy, a golden architecture that cradles its filling like it knows just how precious it is. Thereās restraint here, too; no sugar-dusted gimmicks, no unnecessary adornments. Just the quiet confidence of ingredients that speak for themselves.
But what moved me most was the care that this pie clearly received. In a world that moves too fast, where shortcuts are rewarded and seasons blur together, Sweet Adelineās cherry pie feels like a gentle insistence to slow down. To notice. To be grateful.
So thank you to the bakers, the farmers, and everyone in between who brought this pie into being. You didnāt just make dessert; you captured a season, honored a fruit, and gave us a reason to pause and savor.
Iāll be back for future fruit pie and I will certanly be back next year for...

Check your video and you will see that he got the cake and walked away and started serving the next customers. I thought it was to make up for his poor service. He actually started serving the next customers and walked away. I had already PURCHASED a latte and baked good. I then decided to buy cake from the small selection available. More than an HOUR before closing, your staff not only had a bad attitude because he had to step away from cleaning and closing for the day to help customers. I'm thinking, why is this person so nasty It is not yet 2pm and the cafe doesn't close for at least another hour. There was no whipped cream, no dessert that I came for, and He was rushy and rude. Yes, I was upset and surprised, because I have had much better experiences here, than this...
