I regret ever stepping foot in this salon. It takes a lot for me to write a negative review, but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had with any kind of nail salon. After entering, a man whose name I will keep anonymous assisted me in choosing a neutral based color (my request). Well, what appeared neutral in tone in the book came out completely different on my nails even after three coats. It was completely shear and looked as though someone painted luminescent clear nail polish on me. You could still see underneath my entire nails. After being enticed to get a massage and having my eyes closed halfway through, I did not get to catch this until he was done. Not only was the polish deceiving, but my nails were poorly shaped, a couple of my fingers had blood seeping at the side, and dirt visible under my “polished nails”. Another staff member could not find another neutral color that was not shear either after two attempts of painting it on the staff member, they had given up and I had to. To make matters worse, while taking off the gel polish to which at this point I said I just would like everything off he forgot to take off the polish on one nail to which I had to point out and he laughed it off. Not one person apologized or tried to make it up to me. Instead, I left with no resolution. I instantly headed to Franklin Lakes Spa to which they took one look at my nails and were in shock. Supposedly I wasn’t the only customer who this happened to. I do not recommend this...
Read moreI was looking for a new nail salon and when I called to make an appointment after reading the reviews, I relayed this to the woman who answered. I get dip manicures, have natural medium length nails. I asked the girl who started on my nails to cut them just a little and shape them square with no round edges. This was obviously too much for her, because after shaping my nails differently and slanted, I asked her just to straighten them at which point she then called the owner over to fix. The owner who was rushed made my nails different lengths, some square, some not. The kicker was she put a gel top coat on and I had to put my nails under the UV light. When she pointed to the UV light, I said you're not supposed to use the light. She said oh I used different top coat. The point of dip is not to use the UV light because it also breaks down the powder. So a week later, my nails are peeling and chipping. Never again. And note to the patron who made no less than 8 calls on her phone..no one cares about your furnace and the contractor coming at noon. Have a little consideration. Bad experience all around.
Response to owner: getting dip long enough to know the correct way. Considering my nails are peeling after week should tell you that maybe your way...
Read moreI have been going to the salon for a long time, I have used it for my children, my mother, my grandchildren, and I have recommended it to many people To say, I’m disappointed in the service I received recently would be an understatement. I had a gel manicure, a red color that just didn’t seem to want to stay on my nails after having it corrected 2 to 3 times I asked if we could change the color, perhaps thinking maybe it was the product, I was told I would have to pay another $35 . I have had gel manicures many times and I’ve never had a problem, so when it was suggested, perhaps it was my nail not the poor quality polish I was deeply surprised You have lost my business .. poor customer service by the boss . The woman who work there are so kind and such hard workers .. wishing them well but I will never go back
I see the poor response the owner just gave .. wouldn’t it make sense to change the color when I had been back 3 times in LESS THAN 4 days and more than 1/2 my nails were chipping .. plus being that I was a loyal customer I would think it would be good business for you to fix what was obviously wrong .. your CURT manner and POOR business practice is not...
