I am STUNNED!!! My husband and I wanted to give my mom and mother in law something very special for Mother’s Day. We also wanted a clever way to tell them we are expecting another baby girl this year. I called the shop and asked if they do “baby clothes” keepsakes and the staff told me they JUST did their very first one a week prior but would love to work with me on making a special gift. I went in on 4/29 with my daughters baby blanket that she was wrapped in by the hospital staff the day she was born, I met with Teresa and gave her a few details as to what I was thinking and that was it ! Not only did she handle this project with such love and care but she had both of my gifts ready LESS THAN A WEEK AND A HALF LATER!!!! I was blown away by her work, her staff, her communication, her prices, her time management skills, and above all her kindness and love for what she does for her customers. Our moms were in tears over how special and beautiful their gifts were and very excited for our newest addition! Before you spend hundreds on Etsy or risk shipping your keepsakes in the mail, GO CHECK HER OUT! I’ve been a customer of Embroidery by the Heart for a few years now. Theresa has done a variety of embroidery and screen printing for me. While she generally does do a good job & can pretty much personalize anything, she takes weeks to do even the simplest of embroidery. My most recent experience was getting names embroidered on four pajama tops. Pretty simple especially compared to the other projects she’s done for me in the past. After waiting a few weeks for them to be completed, I went to pick them up and I was floored by the cost. I thought it would’ve costed around $5 a top/name. Nope it was $20 a top, paying $80 to get names on a top & unfortunately they appear to have been done in a rush as they look sloppy. There is also a hole in the one top now that wasnt there before. Due to this experience I will not be returning as customer, which is very disappointing. Her prices are just astronomically high and the work I paid for isn't quality. Look around as there’s an embroidery store down the street that does the same work for a fraction...

The owner Teresa always greets you with a welcoming smile and a warm greeting. There are many unique items to choose from to custom embroider for yourself or a to give as a gift. The store also has a nice selection of other giftware ranging from scented wax warmers to table & wall decor, to vases, and a variety of Oakmont themed merchandise. Give yourself some extra time to browse around the store and find the treasures within, you'll be glad you did. I love this store and would recommend anyone passing through the area to take some time to stop in - there's alot more than embroidered items here - however; the array of quality embroidered items won't disappoint...
