Morning Sun Florist — Attraction in Oakwood

Was ordering an arrangement from out-of-state for someone in the Centerville area. As my family and friends are spread out across the U.S., I have to rely heavily on websites so that I know what I will be sending when I order (have had a few unfortunate experiences over the years w/ florists--sometimes you don't get what you pay for, esp if you are not very specific). Was disappointed to see that Morning Sun doesn't offer pics online of particular arrangements.

I get it—it's easier for the florist to maintain a website without offering potential customers that service. Easier for them to say, "we sent $150-worth of flowers to X", w/o the customer really knowing what was sent.

Because I am usually sending flowers to ppl I know pretty well, they often send me photos of the arrangements. Sometimes, arrangements are what I ordered or worth what I spent—and sometimes not.

No pics of arrangements online = customer having very limited choices or shelling out a fair amount of money on blind faith (I'm not in the latter camp!). Consequently, I can only order X number of stems of X flower in order to really know what the recipient will receive.

It really isn't that much work for florists to put some arrangement pics online. Could even tell customers to call for current pricing of arrangements. Just disappointed that Morning Sun doesn't offer that. Nice website minus that glaring omission. Ordered online from a different florist...

This is and has been for many years my all-time favorite flower shop.and the truth is it's so much more than just a flower shop in fact I'm going to go as far to as to say that it's a healing experience just being in that store!

The atmosphere is peaceful and soothing to my soul. I would live there if I could! 🌹

All the employees are very kind, amiable. And Darla herself is usually there.

And did I say how much I love this shop? Everyone and anyone can find something here that they need to make their home a more inviting and expressive space.

Went in here over the weekend and the owner of the store looked at my daughter and I like we were not good enough to shop in her store, she even told me that my mask needed to be fixed when it was on properly, she missed out on a high spender! I went across the street to the flower shope instead. Highly reccomend the flower shope over this over priced snobby owned store. Not to mention she treated her floral employee like garbage, the employee gave my little girl some flowers and the owner had given her a rude look for it and didn't acknowledge her when she said I hope u don't mind i gave...
