Absolutely amazing experience!!!! Visited a few weeks ago just to see what this store had. Was throughly pleased at the selection and the quality of the furniture they offered. We were greeted by a young man named Taylor, who was absolutely phenomenal! He showed us around and was so informative and knowledgeable. He walked with us through the store but allowed us to also look around. He let us know he was there without being high pressure. We went home to think about the items we had seen. Then a few weeks later I came back and spent several hours in the store with Taylor. We are remodeling our home and needed to furnish most of it. He was so so so helpful!!! He listened to my ideas and concerns and laid out so many wonderful choices for me. We established a foundation of basically how we were going to furnish our home. Then he offered to have Charles, one of their other amazing designers, come out and look at our home and measure everything up. This service is FREE OF CHARGE!!!! We were very impressed with him as well. He, like Taylor, is vastly knowledgeable about what he does. They both love what they do and it shows!!!! It took about a week and we went back into the store and he presented his designs for our home. Absolutely fabulous is all I can say. These two men worked together and within no time at all had our whole house laid out. We loved everything they presented!!!! Again, they both heard our (very limited, lol) vision and ran with it!!! They both offered ideas and direction while still being sensitive to our likes and dislikes. He also was sensitive to our budget and feel like he made the best use of every dime. They made us so comfortable in this daunting task we had. We were in and out in no time and now are just eagerly awaiting our purchases!!!! We will be back to design our back patio area and will absolutely see both Taylor and Charles again for this. BTW....as a side note....we usually do not purchase extra warranties or protection plans, but what Hudsons offered as a protection plan was nothing short of brilliant. We chose to cover our entire purchase!! Hudsons Furniture ......you have two AMAZING employees in Taylor and Charles and I hope they get all the recognition in your organization they deserve!!!!!    Read moreOrdered a dining room set that was custom built and bought the extra warranty for well over $2500. I called Hudson to notify them that the chair is coming apart not even 3 months later and was notified a 3rd party would have to inspect it ( furnature solution). After taking off work and getting stood up from the technician I called Hudson customer support to ask for a manager and was told I would receive a call within 24/48 hr later ( it's 72 hr later ) and no one has called. I called the store for the 3rd time and was advised an email was going to be sent to all managers to escalate the issue and would get a call by the end of the day. It is now 24 hours later and still have not heard from the store. Tomorrow I will go to the store and get the information about the manufacturing company and go down that route. It's rediculious you pay a lot of money and buy the extended warranty and can't even get the first year factory warranty covered and addressed. We were guaranteed no hassle replacement on defects but this company keeps avoiding the problem and again I have to now stop what I'm doing and waste more time dealing with something that the manufacturing warranty should cover but Hudson refuses to be responsible.
Update today, September 25, 2024, about 2 months later after ( yes, the owner got the ball rolling, but still not resolved. Today, the new chair finally arrived in the back of a semi ( not strapped in, unpacked but had a moving blanket thrown over it, and all kinds of packing tape wrapped up. Just told the guys this isn't acceptable, so keep it. I called the store, just like the last time we I was told the manager is on the phone and will call you right back. We'll it's 2 hours later, and I'm still getting nowhere, so I'll just update Google again in the hope the owner gets notified and maybe he can assist the situation. You don't just throw a new custom chair in the back of a semi and expect everything to work out. I just got an email stating they tried delivering it but I wasn't available. lmao...
   Read moreThink twice before going to browse the Ocala store. We are very frustrated with Hudson Furniture. Back in September we decided to visit the store for their sale. We found patio umbrellas on sale (BOGO). We had been looking to replace our weathered one. The main feature that got us to buy, was that we were told the metal base was included in the price. Our salesperson was not sure and asked a senior salesperson. We all heard " of course." So we agreed that it was a great purchase. When they were delivered, we noticed the box was not big enough to include the bases. We took them back to the store without opening the boxes. Our intention was to get a refund if the base was not to be included. We were told the return could not be processed till Monday and meanwhile we had the other sales people be very snarky when we asked for paperwork to confirm the fact we dropped off the umbrellas. "There are plenty of witnesses that you returned them." Of course no one remembered witnessing that the bases had been promised on the first visit. By the next Sunday nothing had been returned to my card. We returned 7 days later to ask and were told that it took about 5 days to process and it had not been turned into the process until mid week , so to give it a couple more days. It is now three weeks later and we have not had the refund. In the last two weeks no phone calls or text messages have been returned by anyone at the store. It is not easy to stop by the store since it is on the other side of town during the week, so now we have to plan another visit and probably get no...
