Zero communication from workers when trying to navigate slides. As a family of 3 we found it difficult to all enjoy the same rides together and the lines for rides intertwined one another and anytime we tried asking workers which slide the line was for which particular color slide they just smiled and nodded with zero actual communication. People were waiting 20 minutes just to end up at the wrong slide because no one was actually helping. Workers that did communicate were rude. Food was gross and I had to wait 10 minutes for a fork after the fact that I waited 10 minutes for them to ring my food up correctly because they said my card wasn't working (card was fine they weren't doing it right on their end)
Locker doors are heavy so using them is impossible unless you have someone to hold it open it will slam shut on you and it busted my hand up, at which point we left.
We got on 3 slides in 3 hours but we truly tried asking for help navigating as a family who wanted to ride ALL the same slides numerous times but the workers point blank didn't have a clue how to communicate or couldn't be bothered.
Too many unsupervised teens and kids running in front of people or not paying attention in lines and hitting people with their intertubes.
One line, singular line was for 3 slides and the third slide wasn't even on the sign at the entrance and no one wanted to go down it so the worker was just yelling and pointing at people then the slide and no one had a clue what was going on. Just chaos and stress the whole time. We all hated the trip.
Between people trying to navigate where to go in the intertwined lines and people getting out of line when they realize it's the wrong one, it was very crowded but not due to long lines, nope it was crowded due to poor signage and workers who have no business being employeed at a water park where...
Read moreGroup of 5 of us went to the speedway, everything way fine until a group of teenage men started to cause issues on the track. This leaded to them intentionally bumping a chipping the tooth of the girl in our group. We went straight to the front desk and let the people there know what happened with no fuss.
As I pointed out who did they talked to them and let them go. After this the boyfriend in our group said some things to the guy that intentionally hit his girlfriend and then we were on our way out.
As we are leaving and outside of the speedway and into the parking lot, they continue to follow and tell us to leave while the group of teens stay in the speedway. We had been respectful all the way until they decided to let them go. As you would expect, the boyfriend of the girl is very upset and is yelling. Instead of deescalating the situation. The management no joke, decides to start chirping back to the boyfriend acting like he wants to fight. Coming at him and beating his chest like he was going to throw a punch. As a manager myself this is unacceptable and completely unprofessional. I am really disappointed with how they handled the situation. We didn’t receive any compensation for the 80$ we spent to go there. I’m at a lost for words and now the girl that chipped her tooth has to spend 300$ to get it fixed.
For the guy who decided to try to fight my friend, you have no idea how to do your job correctly and you have no self control. Grow up.
Thanks for...
Read moreMy family visited Splash Mountain recently. I will never return. Here’s why: #1. Multiple lifeguards were found to be asleep on the stand while on duty. I reported this to an employee once I realized it. He went over to wake him up, and that was it. The lifeguard soon fell back into his slumber. I should mention, this was a lifeguard at the pool intended for babies and small children. My friend was in a different area of the park and also discovered the lifeguard there was sleeping when her child came down a slide to go under with no one watching. #2. Poop. Poop was in the pool. A lot of it. Not sure how long it was there before I realize my child had been floating amidst the large brown chunks. We exited the pool and alerted staff. The pool was not shut down. People were allowed to continue to swim amid the fecal matter. I could also mention the sad and dirty state of the pool furniture, the overly loud music (god forbid anyone call for help), the lack of food options and so on … but really, sleeping lifeguards and human waste in the water are reason enough for anyone to choose a different way to spend their...
