Review of Ocean City, Maryland
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Ocean City, Maryland, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the stunning beaches to the vibrant boardwalk, this destination truly has something for everyone.
The beaches are absolutely beautiful, with soft sand and clear waters perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and beach games. I loved spending my days lounging by the ocean and taking refreshing dips in the waves. The beach atmosphere is lively yet relaxing, making it an ideal getaway.
The famous Ocean City Boardwalk is a highlight of the trip. Lined with charming shops, delicious food stalls, and fun amusement rides, it’s a great place to stroll, enjoy some ice cream, and soak in the ocean breeze. I highly recommend trying the boardwalk fries and the funnel cakes—they're simply delicious!
For those looking for activities beyond the beach, there’s plenty to explore. I enjoyed a thrilling jet ski ride and also took a scenic boat tour that offered breathtaking views of the coastline. Additionally, the local restaurants serve a fantastic variety of cuisines, with fresh seafood being a standout.
The friendly atmosphere and welcoming locals added to the charm of Ocean City. Everyone we met was helpful and eager to share recommendations for things to do and see.

Read moreOcean City Maryland is one of my favorite places to vacation. See my review of Holiday Inn at 6600 Coastal Highway, but as for Ocean City, this is an amazing beach if you are going with family, friends, alone, or if you are a couple. This beach is also kid friendly. 4 years ago we took a day trip by bus and had a great time. Two years later we booked a trip for a quick 2 day stay and this year we stayed a bit longer. The beach, boardwalk, surrounding area is beautiful and clean with lots to do for all ages. You have plenty of kid stuff as well as adult entertainment. I also didn't find my few day trip too expensive and we did alot and ate our a few times a day. I highly suggest planning a trip for Ocean City Maryland if you don't want to spend a fortune with great food and alot to...
Read moreI have been a Maryland resident ist of my life and I have been traveling to Ocean City for many of my 50 summers. It's a destination spot for everyone. The boardwalk is always getting new stores/restaurants but the old favorites are still there too! The seagulls are great and the horses at the state park are close by. I have been to many conventions in OC and the Conversation Hall is huge and can hold loads of functions. The various hotels/motels are reasonably priced for a beach resort and if you stay off the Oceanside it's even cheaper! When it rains there's the mall and plenty of indoor activities. I have many fond memories of childhood summers with my best friend on those...
