Ocean Isle Beach Community Center — Attraction in Ocean Isle Beach

The facilities are nice with clean, wheelchair-accessible bathrooms and entrances. We were there for a free Turtle Talk by the Ocean Isle Sea Turtle Preservation Organization. It was an informative and educational talk by a great group of people. There were plenty of seats and shows at two times, 5:30 and 7. They have talks on Mondays that are free with admission to the Nature Preserve Museum, so if you are looking for less expensive, Tuesdays through October are the way to go. If the talk is really compelling, you can go to 2 Ladies and and Ice Cream Scoop nearby and 10% of the proceeds of your purchase will go to the Sea Turtle Preservation...

Great place to relax and have fun at the beach. It was really nice because they also have handicap accessible parking and bathrooms. I would definitely recommend the Ocean Isle Beach Community Center to anyone that is planning a family event at the beach, pricing is very reasonable also. When I went I paid $150 for 4 hours of rental time. Large area able to accommodate everyone in your group. I would have hoped to have a nice visit but it was not to be. My reservation at The Dunes was confirmed but upon arrival the realty office told me that I did not have a reservation.
