Splash Beachwear — Local services in Ocean Isle Beach

Merchandise is your typical fare of tourist attraction stuff, no surprise there. The quality is horrid however, far moreso than I had expected, and the service is no better. Older gal at the front who is usually there has a constant sneer going on, speaks in curt and clipped sentences, won't look you in the eye, constantly has some video on full blast in front of her even as you are trying to check out, and tried to ignore your existence fit any reason other than to cash you out.

Products are sub-par even for a tourist trap. Purchased a basic bodyboard, didn't use it for 3 days. Used it for only three hours when we did open it back up, come to find the next morning it's already de-laminating. Went to discuss the issue, looking for an exchange not a return, same old lady just stayed that you have to bring it back defective within 24 hours. I had no reason to use the thing until days after purchase, and had no way to know it was defective prior to use. Lady doesn't even listen, won't even face me, just waved her hand in shooing motions and said she would not help

Do not purchase anything from this place. My family comes to the island every year, and I will never return. I'm aware the loss of my business will go unnoticed, but I would recommend going right next...

Decent beachwear/souvenir shop. My only complaint was we walked in and at the time were the only ones in the store. The older gentleman started immediately staring us down and walking at the end of the swimwear aisle where we were looking. The stairs that you must climb to enter this establishment lead to an altogether more elevated feel than the other stores on the island. As far as the quality of the stuff goes... I mean unless you're looking for Ocean Isle specific merchandise it makes sense to just bring your own stuff to the island.
