There are quite a few donut places on/near Ocean Isle Beach and this place is the best if you want some cake donuts! On the two times we went here during our week-long beach trip to Ocean Isle, we had to wait quite a bit in line, but let me tell you it was definitely worth the wait. The line is because they make the donuts fresh to order right in front of you. They have all sorts of delicious donuts to choose from. We got half a dozen and this week they were all Shark Week themed and came with gummy sharks on them which were pretty cute. They were soft and perfectly made, not overly fried tasting. Melting in your mouth, but not chewy or overly firm. They have cool merch and even waiting in line didn't take too long, we started out the door down the steps and probably got our order in 10 minutes. It's an order and go kind of place. No room to sit down and eat, but these donuts were fantastic and honestly I wouldn't want to wait in there as it was pretty cramped. You have to...

Walked in for donuts… walked out with new besties 😄💁‍♀️💁‍♀️💁‍♀️ The 3 ladies working were sweet, friendly, and funnier than your favorite aunt at Thanksgiving. 😂

The donuts? 🔥 FRESH. Like made-right-here-and-now fresh. 🍩✨ Toppings go on after you order—talk about VIP treatment! 🙌

As the owner of another small biz in OIB (Sunsational Cart Rentals 🛺☀️), I LOVE supporting other local spots that absolutely nail it. These ladies are doing it right. 👏

Highly recommend swinging by—but be warned: you might leave with a donut addiction and 3 new honorary cousins. 💕😂
