Wouldn't even give this place one star. Needed new pants for work in a hurry, went in and bought 3 pair in hopes that one would fit, SINCE YOU CANNOT TRY THEM ON!!! Luckily 2 of the 3 worked. Went back to EXCHANGE the third pair, because we all know that Goodwill doesn't give people their money back, and because it had been 3 days since I bought them, they would not let me even exchange them. Apparently there is a 48 hour exchange policy. Like I said, I bought them in a hurry, I had like maybe 10 minutes before the store closed after I got off work to go in and try to find pants. I bought them on a Wed and tried to exchange them on Sat morning when I didn't have to go to work. They absolutely would not exchange them. Get off your high horses and remember what the store was originally supposed to be about. Helping people out not helping full your bank accounts. The least you could do if you're not going to let anybody try things on, is let them exchange it out with more than a 48 hour policy. Read moreThis Goodwill is clean, well managed and they have very nice merchandise. The staff and manager are very helpful and friendly. I've been to 15 Goodwill stores in Texas and this is the only one I've been to that actually puts out more items, like they are supposed to, daily. NOTE: One thing I have noticed they could improve on is their prices on shoes and boots are extremely higher than all of the other Goodwill stores I've shopped at. A pair of boots that are $20.00 at other Goodwill stores are $49.00 to $59.00 at the Odessa store. I've even seen some boots as high as $79.00. I understand their mission and purpose, but I believe lower prices in this area would actually increase traffic in the store and result in more sales volume, better profits and greater customer...
Read moreI went to this location and found a Barbie house , I took it to the counter to purchase it . After I purchased it the manager came and said “that price is not right” and told me I had to return the item or pay the original price (which was not on the Barbie set). The manager stated maybe someone switched the tags , possibly implying I did and I told her to check the cameras and she will see that is the sticker I found on it . She did not check the cameras and still demanded I return the item that I already paid for . Although I could have easily walked out with the items I purchased I let them do a return due to their own mistakes . That was not only unfair to me , but truly embarrassing.
