Ojos Locos Sports Cantina (Odessa, TX) — Restaurant in Odessa

17:30 AOL. I like think myself as an observant person. Not just myself but my surroundings. I'm pretty confident Hooter, Twin Peaks or any other General pretty girls establishment treats all thier guests equally. Poorservice or good service for all. My first mistake i think was showing up white. They have a no gun/knife policy but observed ten latino minors come to enjoy themselves with knives openly carried in thier belt loops in the small of thier backs. Wifee and i sat at a table for 12 min before being greeted. Happened to be same girl that had passed our table 20x's (maybe they had to rock paper scissors the unlucky waitress to serve a married white couple) Tea was our drink order. Waitress was polite when she showed up. Tea tasted like odessa water made beer must be thier specialty. Burger was actually pretty good but once delivered that was the last we got a visit from our waitress. She seemed to be a pretty good one too because she was very attentive to her other 3 tables. Refills etc. As our glasses sat at the edge of our table half way thru our meal. Waited politely another ten minutes till helping ourselves to pay manager on way out. (We honestly could have just had a decent free meal). No apologies from male manager, just a whole sign and leave vibe. This place wont survive with management like that. 0 on tip. Crazy because u get 50% or 100% from us if u just do ur job! Lettem have it, wont last. 2 thumbs down copy...

Saturday night we went to go enjoy ourselves and attempt to watch the Dallas Cowboys game. Upon arriving, we asked the staff to change the TV to the football game and they did for about maybe 10 minutes.. then they changed it to baseball so we had to call our witches back. We already had a hard time speaking English with us, which isn’t the problem. However, they told us they couldn’t change the game back because they’re ready to put on the UFC fight. The manager came to a table to speak to us and he was talking to my Tio about 3 inches from his face telling him why he couldn’t change the TV back to the football game and then try to tell us that he was going to charge us and everybody else in the restaurant five dollars for the UFC fight even though we weren’t there to watch the UFC fight. Clearly he could tell we were upset, and my uncle told him that if he’s gonna be that close to his face, so at least have a mint. Then the waitress proceeded to bring us our check without us asking for it thus we were kicked out.. worst service worst beer worst...

Rude waitresses horrible service. The place was half empty, and I walked in and sat at a table that can seat six and they forced me to move to a table that can see four! Again, let me stress that the restaurant was empty! It was on a Wednesday evening And there were plenty of tables! I’m a project manager in the oil field and this was my first time here. Needless to say, I had one beer and I left. I asked to speak to a manager, and the manager couldn’t even understand English. I tried to explain to him that I thought that it was rude that they forced me to sit at a table of four because my phones weren’t Yet Andy restaurant was half empty. He was a young kid and gave me a blank stare, like if he didn’t understand what I was trying to tell him! He asked me if they sent me there and I told him no I stood there at the front desk and one of the girls just pointed to a table so I went to go sit at the table she pointed to! So I called my friends and told them we are going to go somewhere else and I will never recommend this...
