Huddle House — Restaurant in Odessa

We were super excited about this place opening up but will not be going back. We got seated at a reasonable time, our waitress never came by. I had to get up and ask the hostess if we had a waitress so she took our drink order. The waitress finally comes by and takes our order, 45 minutes later still no food. We sat at the bar area and the cooks all looked lost, orders were constantly missing stuff. The chef had a plate with tons of toast just sitting up there instead of making them fresh. I saw my plate sit up there for 10 mins and finally I asked the waitress if she could check on my food. She leans on the area where the food comes out and just stares at the plate puts her arms and head where the food comes out that her hair almost touched another plate that was there. Then she asks for more toast so the cook just add more toast to my plate but the toast had been sitting up there for awhile. The omelette was horrible and super greasy! My sons order the apple smoked biscuit and they never even put a biscuit at the bottoms how it’s suppose to be. They had 5 cooks in the back and all were a mess. They had a waffle that sat there for 15 minutes and then decided to put it in a to go order because one of the waitresses forgot to send it to her table. I don't know who the hell that little toilet stain thinks he was by barking orders at me and trying to prevent me from using the bathroom when I walked in tonight (12/21/23) around 6:30pm, but he was completely out of line.

It was clearly obvious why I walked into a completely empty restaurant tonight. The behavior displayed by that petulant child was so overwhelmingly loud, rude, and obnoxious that he could be heard yelling by the tea dispensers all the way from the stall in the men's bathroom.

What were you thinking by hiring someone like that? You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Needless to say, I refused to stick around after using the bathroom and instead chose to walk out in protest without ordering. I was a regular who easily spent over $500 a month in this restaurant until tonight. Now I'm not. In fact, I refuse to give this establishment another dollar of my money until that boy is removed from the equation permanently.

Michelle can explain what happened tonight, but in the meantime, can you please fire that guy so that we can have our professional, peaceful restaurant back? I'm sure ALL of your guests would GREATLY appreciate it if...

My family and I got the privilege to try out the brand new Huddle House in Odessa,Texas before they opened. I can honestly say the staff is amazing the food was bomb and our waiter Dhamian was very respectful very observant and just all around wonderful. Can't wait until the grand opening. I felt like I was at home when we were there. I ordered the Bacon,Sausage and Sausage gravy stuffed hash brown and it was AMAZING, my husband ordered the Mega Bacon cheeseburger and let me tell you he was not disappointed at all, my son ordered the kids chicken tenders and he was very pleased with them(he is picky when it comes to chicken), I ordered my daughter the Old Fashion Pancake Platter and she loved it, for our appetizer we ordered the Fried Pickles Basket and it was amazing everything was fresh and hot and pricing is amazing. Thank you Huddle House staff for making our first time experience the best y'all are the first restaurant my daughter has ever been to in her one year of being on this earth and for us not being in restaurant since the pandemic happened.
