Twin Peaks — Restaurant in Odessa

I ordered the NY strip and a side salad for the appetizer. 35 minutes goes by when both my salad and steak come out simultaneously. But there was no salad dressing, I asked for Italian and salt and pepper and some utensils. 15 min goes by still none of the above was brought to me. Then a while later they bring me ranch, still no salt pepper or utensils. So I say hey can I get some Italian, 10 min goes by another waitress comes out with marinara sauce, still no utensils or salt an pepper. I call the manager over he acts upset with me because I'm saying something. Then 5 minutes later a different waitress comes out with a tiny bit of Italian dressing but still no utensils. So I say that little bit of Italian isn't gunna be enuff. I guess I'll take some ranch. While waiting again I ask my original waitress for salt pepper and utensils. I finally get utensils and salt and pepper. Tried my steak and sides and everything was Cold so I sent it back. So finally I get some salad dressing and eat on that then my steak comes out barely warm but by this time I haven't got time to wait. Me and my buddy eat everything and order another beer witch took 15 more minutes. Then we ask for the bill 3 different times we get the bill and I was charged for 2 steaks and like 4 salade dressings. I told her it was wrong and she started fixing the exra steak. This is my first and last time going to Twin Peaks here in Odessa. The overall experience was a nightmare from the jump. The service was terrible. It wasn’t the attitude. It was just outright bad service. It took 30 min from the time I sat down till I got even a glass of water. I got my beer first after 30 min of being there then my water. And I know you guys are gonna think I’m exaggerating but they never asked us one time if we wanted to refill or brought a refill for our drinks. My ribs were dry. Potatoes were dry my friends steaks were all wrong. And the other guy steak was blah, but he didn’t say anything. One of the guys at our table ordered two shots of whiskey, neat and got them served to him in shot glasses 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻

I’ve been to Twin Peaks several times in other cities and without a doubt this is the worst one and the worst experience I’ve ever seen. It’s bad enough that I well be sharing this experience with corporate. I can’t say you shouldn’t go cause in football season it’s probably a decent spot, but I know four guys that will never be going back there and deeply regret we didn’t go Walk Ons or Ojos Locos next door. had to take a moment to shout out Tiani—hands down one of the best servers I’ve ever had. From the moment she came to the table, her vibe was on point. Super friendly, confident, and just real. She wasn’t putting on some robotic customer service act—she was genuine, and it made the experience feel that much better.

She was quick with the drink refills, made sure the food came out right, and checked in just enough to make sure I was taken care of without hovering. I ended up trying the Smokehouse Burger on her recommendation, and it did not disappoint. She knew the menu well and delivered everything with great timing and even better energy.

On top of all that, Tiani carries herself with a coolness and professionalism that’s rare to find. She knows how to read the room and made sure my visit was smooth from start to finish. Twin Peaks is lucky to have her on the team.
