I needed a new laptop charger so I went shopping around. I paid $25 for a universal charger at Walmart, and it didn’t fit my laptop so I returned it. Went to Best Buy next, and their universal charger, that did actually fit, was priced at $70. I have an inexpensive Chromebook, so I really couldn’t justify paying that. I didn’t want to wait for Amazon to ship because I needed the charger ASAP, but I was going to resort to doing that until I came across an Eco Electronics- a store that sells refurbished electronics- listing on Facebook Marketplace. The listing said they have chargers for almost any laptop, so I decided to go check them out. Ravi, the owner was so incredibly kind and helpful. He had an enormous amount of chargers in the back, but unfortunately did not have the one that I needed either. Instead of saying sorry and letting me walk out the store, he took apart one of the chargers he owned, and connected it to mine in an attempt to see if that made it work. He worked hard to ensure that I left with what I needed.

Updated: I bought a Dell Precision 5520 15.6" laptop with good specs like Intel Core i7 last week! I think it is mainly a used computer store... If you need to use bitlocker or something like that, you might run into issues with some models. IT at my school spent many hours to get everything to work while being 100% compatible. So if you have extensive IT knowledge or have an IT team or friend who knows how to fully reset the laptop at the hardware level and is willing, it is a really good deal (saved me thousands of dollars). Or if you don't need to worry about that, the laptop at least did function for the basics and had Windows 11 Pro. Eco Electronics let me check the specs, play internet videos, check hdmi function, etc. before buying. The main guy gave us some free extras too and said I could come back within 30 days for store credit/help if I found problems. Very nice man.
