I went into this very hesitant because of the mixed reviews and past fails I’ve had looking for a good gyro.
Honestly, the outside of the building didn’t seem promising (which I personally don’t think matters, but some do.) The inside however is pretty cute though!
I’m not from Oklahoma, so I don’t know a lot of restaurants in the area and decided to try this place out.
My mom and I got 2 gyros, I chose fries and she chose rice as our sides, 2 drinks, 2 falafel balls, and hummus and pita bread for $22 roughly, which I thought was a great price.
It was all very good! My only “complaint” would be that I wish that the pita was homemade but still tasted great nonetheless.
The ladies that were working were also super sweet and attentive, they even held the door open as we walked up and talked to us like they’d known us for years.
I’ll definitely make this a regular stop when I visit OKC.
I have never left a review on anything before, so for anyone that goes through reviews before trying new places like I do, I would definitely give...
Read moreThis may not be a fair review since we didn't try the food, but there's good reason for that. My wife and I walk in at around 6:10. We knew they were closing at 7 but figured that was plenty of time to get in and out without being a bother. When we walked up to the register, there were two guys in front of us ordering. They put in an order for 5 meals. The lady taking the order was nice but the cook was visibly distressed. As they were ordering, she yelled out, "I don't have anymore rice!" The cashier turned and said that they ordered fries. The cook then shook her head and sighed and said, "I can't do that!" and turned and walked away. The two guys in line were left feeling at fault, uncomfortable and we felt like we were an intrusion so we left. I understand if this happens 15 minutes before close. I even understand being out of rice or other stuff. But being rude to guests and unwilling to do your job 50 minutes before close is a little much. We won't...

Absolutely incredible experience at Sweis Greek Café! I ordered the gyro plate with a side of pita and hummus, and let me tell you—the portion sizes were generous, the flavors were bold, and everything was made fresh. The gyros were perfectly seasoned, the hummus was smooth and flavorful, and the pita had just the right amount of char.
What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. The staff was super kind, welcoming, and attentive—you can tell they care about their food and their customers. It’s no surprise this place has been a staple in the community for over 50 years. That kind of longevity speaks volumes.
The environment has a cozy, neighborhood vibe that just feels authentic. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a relaxed meal, this is the hidden gem you didn’t know you needed.
I will definitely be back—Sweis has earned a...
