Edit: The below review is based on my stay at the hotel formerly known as the ‘21c’ in downtown OKC, thus the experience may not represent that of this new hotel name, under new management.
Found this place in a (time) crunch (after my Airbnb host cancelled) and while a bit on the pricey side, it was worth every penny. Stayed in the loft style king bed suite (dog friendly) and the room layout was unlike anything I’ve ever seen in a hotel. High ceilings (concrete), wall of glass (above waist line for privacy), extremely comfortable pillow top mattress with uniquely modern headboard with build in side shelves and usb charging ports, power outlet, and individual controls for the light above each side of the bed, as well as a master light switch to turn off all (except the bathroom) lights. Both sides of the bed had the same light switch functionality and usb/outlets/shelves. At the entry of the unit there was a light switch to control the entry light and a second master switch to again turn off all of the lights at once - very handy!
The layout of the room had a couch @ the foot of the bed with small, round dining table (could rotate) and a tv hanging on a furniture style floating wall - viewable from the couch and bed. On the other side of the wall housing the tv was a desk that could double as a make-up vanity as there was a mirror across the backsplash of the desk (back side of the tv wall). Lots of built-in power outlets for laptops, hairdryer, curling iron, etc.. and then while sitting at the desk facing into the room, behind you is a full wall of cabinets with built in closet hanging and coffee/snack bar/Microwave/ and safe. At the front of the unit was a well lit, modern bathroom, with luxury tiled shower with glass door.
Not a large hotel room, but incredible use of space which offers everything one would need, plus the cool factor (some unique lights throughout, as power outlet @ the foot of the couch, too..). Great job to the design team!
Also, all employees I encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of cool art throughout the building and convenient/easy walk to many great restaurants, such as The Jones Assembly. Safe part of downtown. Parking is via valet or for $5/exit @ apartment garage to the north of the building (don’t recommend this as the garage elevator stops @ floor 2 (coming down) without an apartment keycard — so expect to walk far with luggage if you try to save money using this garage rather than unlimited in and out valet offered...

First, all of the staff were kind, helpful and accommodating! Five stars for them.
Second, the rooms were large and nicely appointed. Not your average hotel room. The beds were comfortable. Loved the Nespresso machine in the room. The details were great, like the refillable water bottles, and the sink and tub faucets resembling turn handles on equipment.
The bodega was a quick and easy place to grab breakfast in the morning although we missed it by two minutes on our second day. The avocado toast was delicious and the pancakes was good according to my son.
My only issues with the hotel were noise and the pool.
Our first night was in a 4th floor room on the same side as Jones Assembly. That night they had a very loud DJ that didn’t stop playing music until 2 PM. We didn’t get in until after midnight so we just dealt with it, but it was impossible to go to sleep until the music stopped. I spoke with the front desk staff the next morning and they were apologetic and moved us to a different room. The second room was quiet and we slept well!
The pool is very small and does not have much seating. We wanted to relax by the pool for an hour or so but it was very busy.
When we first got there, there were no seats at all so we had to sit on the concrete. Eventually, a group of young women consolidated their stuff that was spread out over lounge chairs and another seating area so we were able to get two seats between the three of us.
I mentioned how busy it was and was told that the pool and pool bar is open to the public and that it wasn’t as busy as it usually was. As a hotel guest paying for a room, it’s unfortunate that we weren’t able to really enjoy the pool attached to the hotel due to the overcrowding. When we got in the pool, we were confined to one corner.
It is the smallest pool I’ve ever seen at a hotel - and we travel a lot. It doesn’t seem big enough to accommodate hotel guests, much less the general public.
Overall, we had a great stay. And again, the staff...

We scheduled our stay on the 7/28. We stayed at the Hotel on 8/5/23. I scheduled my stay with the exact same staff and NO ONE told me about the ownership change of the hotel. I scheduled a one night stay for my wife's birthday. Our very first night away from our 1 year old ever. We specifically chose the Fordson (Formally known as the 21C Hotel) because of its art ammonites. It is known as a hotel in the city with art on every floor, several exhibits, a lot to do in general. I also paid $400 for that one single night.
Come the morning of our stay I called the hotel to verify all was good with our reservation. They QUICKLY let me know that they were not 21C, almost joking like I was dumb for not knowing. They kept me on hold forever and eventually came back to tell em they had no records of my reservation and that if I still wanted it, I would have to email them my old confirmation to keep my stay. Already super nervous I go ahead and drive down to the hotel. They continue to get me handled, called the old ownership company, whole fiasco. FINALLY got me taken care of and even got me checked in a little early!
We came back later that evening and slowly realized the hotel was not the same hotel that we booked. All the art was taken down, exhibits gone, a lot of the amenities gone. We were both super discouraged, especially me knowing that I paid a premium thinking we were getting to enjoy some of these amenities. I won't babble on too much father, I just feel like we were majororly ripped off and will most likely never be staying here again.
Side note, I see prices per night have updated. Same Room I stayed in that night is now $171/night, not the $400 I paid. I almost felt the lady checking us in look at the screen in shock. We were completely ripped off and NO ONE had the courage to speak up and say something. If that was the case, I would have canceled completely, hopped on my phone and scheduled 2 night... Would have been cheaper. 1/10...
