Loved it! They have completely renovated this beautiful stadium and we greatly enjoyed our evening at the OKC Energy soccer game. This was a very family friendly event, including a free meal (hot dog, chips and a drink) for every child 12 and under at the concession stand and pocket-friendly ticket prices. No purchase was required for the free meal, they are truly FREE! There were food trucks and bouncy houses in the end zones for kids and a large tent selling very reasonably priced merchandise. I got a women's t-shirt on sale for just $7.50. Amazing! I have always loved this beautiful stadium, built as a WPA project as part of Roosevelt's New Deal back in the '40s, I believe. It was wonderful to see it restored and remodeled and turned into a modern facility while still retaining its original charm. I look forward to returning for more events...
Read moreI go for the Energy soccer games. We had the chair back stadium seats. Obviously they get uncomfortable after awhile and the chairs are pretty close together. These are paid for seats and people will get the cheaper side seats and make their way over to the more expensive side and just take any seat they wish. I wish they would do something to stop this. Its not fair to pay hundreds more in the long run to have others...
