This place is a little gem in OKC. The food and service were absolutely wonderful. The couple who run it are very friendly and helpful, and will explain any of the products/foods to you clearly. They have a wide selection of products available from all over, including spices, flours, nuts, teas, coffees, oils, and rices, along with fresh & frozen items. Halal meats are available too, frozen. There are a few tables inside you can sit at to eat your food if you don't get it to-go. We had the falafel and gyro pitas. Hands down one of the best places for falafel & gyros. We bought their pita and hummus to take home. Couldn't even wait... we ate most of it when we came home! Do yourself a favor and stop in for a quick lunch and browse the international products. I come by weekly, I live within walking distance. The Restaurant is runned by a great family, but WOW the latina woman running the business today got my order wrong, than when I nicely brought it up it was all attitude from there, ignored me for five minutes while checking out a customer. I asked for sandwich, salad and drink but she said I didn't 😂 I only come here every week. So I said let me pay the difference for the salad, which I did. Than afterwards said this time only. I'm thinking to myself what are you even talking about. She was rude to her coworker, the gentleman with glasses. The owner and his kids are great, hopefully they can improve the ladies service. Sweis Pita Bakery is a tiny magical place in Oklahoma City. As you open the door, the soft smell of fresh Pita, lamb and pastries invites an exploration into this little piece of the Mediterranean and Middle East. The Pita bread is fresh and delicious.
