Not sure if this place is under new management or not, but not too happy about my last experience. Went here for dinner, usually get good service. But this time, service was very slow. We were the only customers. Food was good, but $15 for raw laab?! Not only that, they tried to charge me an additional order that I didn't order.
While I was waiting for the server to come back so I can get a few boxes to go, I did a little shopping around the store. There was an item I was going to purchase, but when it got rung up at the register, it was a different amount, more actually. I told the lady that that's not what it's priced for. She tried to dispute with me. I then told her I didn't want it then if it's not what it's originally priced for. Another coworker, possibly her spouse, went to the aisle and looked at the items. He first came back, showing me a similar item that cost more. I advised I understood that one cost more and that's why I didn't pick that one. He came back a second time and told the lady that it is the price that I originally said it was. At this point, I was already annoyed that she even tried to dispute with me in the first place. I didn't buy the item, paid for the food I ate and left. They need to price their products better. I honestly think she just rung up whatever amount she wanted...

We walked into this place for the first time on a Sunday night around 5 pm because we heard they serve quite good Asian foods in addition to the grocery. We asked the man (potentially the owner according to other reviews) in the checkout counter if we could dine in, he looked so impatient at us and starred at his watch for about 5 sec and asked 'What do you want?' I asked him if there is a menu we can look at, the man answered with an attitude that 'the menu is over there (at the cafe), I don't have it here'.
I was also holding a bag of snacks trying to pay for it while asking him for dine-in. Due to his poor customer service skills, I decided not to purchase anything nor sit down to eat. I should add that I did not know they close at 6:30 on Sunday but we were there at least an hour before they close, this is probably the reason he looked at his watch.
From other reviews, it seems like this place is going downhill and the staff has been acting rude to customers ever since it has a new owner. My family used to come here for groceries but I will surely advise them not to anymore. This is my first time visiting and...
Read moreI always go to eat the food. The best steamed rice rolls I've ever had. The pho is really good. The kapoon is good too. The laab is really good too.
Updated June 2023
The food is still really good, but the service is NEGATIVE 10.
The male owner makes it so uncomfortable to come here. I used to come here at least once a month for groceries and food, but the owner gives off such BAD NEGATIVE VIBES as if he hates his life and projects all that hatred to the people that walks into his store. I ordered a bowl of pho and he charged me for two items. I have no idea what the second charge was for, but since he wants it that bad he can have it.
I do think that they just charge you whatever price they think when you cash out for groceries and food. There's no price tag on most of the items.
I definitely will not be coming back. There's plenty of restaurants and Asian markets in the area that are more welcoming...
