Head/bong shop turned vape shop. Service, atmosphere, prices are all pretty bad.
I went in to purchase a new mod and atomizers, as well as to check out which Halo e-juice they stock. They were "out of stock" of nearly everything I asked about. They spoke to me as though I knew nothing, and when I asked if they carried pretty common brands, they didn't know what I was talking about.
The initial employee I spoke with was nice enough, but clearly trying to make a sale. I bought a small vaporstorm v30 mod. I used it for a few hours and noticed a high pitch whine coming from the battery. I emailed the shop the next morning and they said they would take it as a return. When I came back to return the item, (one day after purchase, all packaging and receipt) the employee who I discussed the issue with tried to talk me out of the return. I kept insisting that the battery was not safe making this noise. He disagreed and tried to convince me otherwise. I had to push just to get store credit, which I had to wait for his boss to agree to give me. This took another ten minutes of waiting. Eventually, I purchased an Eleaf istick 50w for $75, $30 more than my initial purchase. I'm not against spending money, and I like supporting local businesses, but I knew I was being overcharged. I just wanted the ordeal over with and to get something for my money.
I wanted a better brand and got overcharged. I found out later that day that I could have purchased it online and shipped for free for $55 no tax. I lost out on nearly $30 for the "convenience" of dealing with this creepy place.
I normally don't complain, but the attitude in this place is terrible. While I was waiting to see if I could get store credit, the employee who had me waiting kicked back and relaxed in a chair behind the counter. I will generally pay the higher prices for the convenience of a brick and mortar store and a friendly face, but customer service should be impeccable when you're charging 20% more than internet prices.
Too bad, this place was close to my house, and I would've been a good customer to have. I don't mind spending money and I generally don't complain as long as people are nice to me. Don't bother with this place, if you don't mind a brick and mortar markup, There are plenty of other vape only stores (not ex-bong shops) with employees that are much nicer and...
Read moreI was just in this store to purchase vape juice when I purchased the two products (that were in boxes) i went to the car only to find out that one of the juices i purchased was out of date and the juice was of a brown color. I went back into the store assuming that with receipt in hand and a cash sale as well as unopened product that I would be able to return the product. This was not the case apparently the store has a non refundable policy that is not told to you at the time of sale. The excuse I was given was nicotine changes the color of the juice.....the bottle on the shelf not in package was of a gold color the bottle I received in package was brown. I've been vaping for about 6 years now never once heard of this excuse what I have found is that juices that are sitting on the shelf for long periods of time or exposed to heat will darken the color of the juice henceforth not good juice anymore not to mention date on bottles were 3/18. Decided I wanted something different in the store tried to return the oil and they said no refunds or exchanges. They said there was a sign on the front of the desk near the register. I said show it to me and the employee couldn't find it. i said I didn't even walk out of the store and I wanted to return it and they said no I was still in the store the whole time never left and wanted to return it . There was no sign that said I can't return it. The cbd oil is terrible and a complete ripoff anyway.
