Loveland Shopping Center — Attraction in Omaha

Randomly stopped in The Fareway Meat Market while shopping for my dogs bday at Long Dog Fat Cat (Thats a 10 star place btw).

I was anticipating the same cleanliness with a more variety of specialized meats. It says "meat market".

I walked in and was greeted by the most god awful, putrid, almost acidic ammonia smell. So strong it took my breath away. Then I could taste it. I have smelled a variety of dead things, this place made my eyes burn.

I wanted to like the place. So i pushed through to glance at their small pantry and grocery items. I walked the whole 15 ft to the back corner of the store when I was hit with another seriously horrible stench. A woman(who came in after me) was standing at the meat counter- 14 feet away. I could see and smell her perfume cloud.

I left, thinking if I stayed I might suffocate from the odors that have started making my lungs deflate. I don't have asthma, i assume this is what it feels like.

This was a Monday night, maybe if i went on Friday the place would be clean and ready for weekend shoppers. 🤔🤔 Pretty damn disappointed.

I know, it's not Fareway's fault the insecure woman took a bath in old lady perfume. It is however Fareway's fault for letting their fish go bad and not cleaning properly. I will stick to 168th...

I went to Cool Greens to pickup an order. I use a wheelchair and it would have taken me as much time to get out of my van than it would normally take for someone to go inside and get back in their car. I called and asked if they could please being it out curbside when I got there and the gal was very accommodating. She brought it right out to me when she saw me pull up. I love this corner of specialty shops and food and drink places. The meat market is very nice, the Bookwork is a niceand locally owned shop, Smoothie King is hands down my favorite place to get smoothies, if you like Dunkin Donuts, you can find one here.
