I changed my rating to 5 stars because Le Q Actually made changes! Everyone is so friendly now. I am so loyal to them for not only making yummy baked goods but also listening to feedback. Thank you for being a business that truly cares!! I would recommend stopping by.
—— original review: I loooove Le Quartiers bread and croissants, but the people that work at this particular location make the experience unpleasant. If you are someone that is maybe a little socially anxious, I’d go elsewhere.
Today I went in, the girl helping me didn’t even say hello. She just stared at me until I started ordering. She was cold the entire way through the ordering and check out process, while I genuinely wasn’t trying to be unfriendly or a bother. At the end when I paid she leaned in and gave me the most sarcastic “have a great day”. :( If it was just this one worker having a bad day, I wouldn’t leave a review, but this has been happening for months with other workers too! I’ve sent friends and family to pick up orders here, and they’ve had the same experience.
I am starting to consider going elsewhere as I’m unsure if the baked goods are worth it when there are so many other places in town...
Read moreThe rudest service I’ve ever experienced.
I usually buy my bread at the farmers market, but since they weren’t there this week, I made a special trip to the store.
When my husband and I walked in, one woman was making coffee drinks and another was working in the back. Neither of them greeted us, but we waited patiently for over 15 minutes—without so much as an acknowledgment. While waiting, I walked around the bakery area looking at items, and no one else came in until right as one woman was finishing up.
Despite clearly seeing me waiting the entire time, she went straight to help the customers who had just walked in instead of me. I spoke up and said, “Excuse me, I was first and have been waiting this whole time.” She looked at me and said, “Yeah, but you were over there.” I was standing directly at the register behind her—she even walked past me to help the others.
I have no idea what her issue was, but her attitude was unbelievably rude and left such a bad impression that I’m seriously reconsidering ever...
Read moreI want to love this place because the food is great, but every time I go in, the staff is just so cold and unfriendly. Nobody ever makes eye contact with me or greets me. It feels like I am a bother. Today I ordered a coffee drink and sandwich and the only thing that anyone said to me was, “Here’s your drink,” and “Here’s your sandwich” as they tossed it onto the counter (two different staff members). No hello, no goodbye, no thank you. I just can’t justify $15 for a breakfast sandwich and coffee when the employees can’t even pretend they care.
The atmosphere inside feels cold and unwelcoming. Like clockwork when I go in, someone cuts me off because nobody seems to understand where the line begins and where to order or pick up food. I thought these were kinks that would have worked themselves out after opening but it just...
