Will is the MAN. I will be adding this place to our biweekly rotation of eating out just because of him. I can't even most of the stuff here and I love the place, enough to make it a cheat day and pop a few lactaids.
I found a seat for the family after we arrived and paid. I immediately noticed that the tables were well kept and Will was walking around talking with guests. Yes he might have been pushing the survey and that could irk some people, but it's more of an ice breaker to allow people to provide on the spot feedback and correct any concerns.
I am a big guy mean looking guy, the kind that makes me think the fact that my kids don't look like me might get me arrested in a Walmart for trafficking one day mean. Yet Will made eye contact with me, hesitated, and then jumped in with verbal jazz hands and energy I can only assume was fueled by the candy in the claw machine and greeted me with gusto. He asked if I had any questions, provided advice since it was my first time, and then gave me the info for the survey so I could get a free cookie that I'm pretty sure was laced with love.
Throughout the rest of the meal he came by a few times and we chatted, I also spoke with the nice lady who was clearing the tables and managed to figure out how to tip her. Their jovial nature and attention to providing a positive experience might come off as over bearing to introverts, but perhaps you should t eat at a pizza place with a funzone and a penchant for screaming kids if you can't handle extroverts.
The buffet would be considered paltry to some, but being able to order any pizza you want makes up for the lack of readily available food. It also cuts down on food waste and ensures guests are enjoying the thing they do best (pizza) as fresh as possible.
My only negative is that their dough for the normal pizzas tastes like it's catered towards children. That IS ideal, but I couldn't help but wish it was aged a day or two or some form of acid was added to offset the sweetness of the dough. When we go next I'll remedy that through acidic condiments or toppings from the salad bar. That will compliment the sweetness of the dough and introduce a better...
Read moreI was going to give this place a 3 star review based on how small of the buffet is but the customer service and the personal pizzas are amazing so that being said when you show up you'll pay about $13.50 for the buffet make sure you order a personal Pizza or it really is not worth it the buffet is pretty small you got one the pizzas and dessert pizzas on the same buffet there is not much of a selection then the next one is basic vegetables and chicken and noodles and sauce and then there's a salad bar the salad bar is really worth it fresh vegetables crispy lettuce and there's even me there's a large selection of dressings to put on a salad the salad I had was amazing. The man who brought me my personal Pizza what had wonderful customer service and he even made sure I had a reward card. The pizza has a wonderful taste to it I thought I was eating DiGiorno's. The chicken was great and even the green beans though they look like you wouldn't want to eat them are wonderful I have to say that all the food was me. They are not enforcing social distancing that's not your fault people are going to sit where they want to sit regardless of what paper sign is on the table. The arcade is amazing it has amazing games even a virtual reality one and the reward for your tickets or expensive even to include a Nintendo switch. Have multiple rooms for birthdays and for private parties they have booths 4 chair tables and even 6 chair tables they also cater. The bathrooms were clean. I will say that the pizza did run right through me my wife and my son. Overall though I give this pizza joint five stars and I will be going back I felt that was a wonderful place and I really can't wait to go and enjoy another Pizza buffet with a personal Pizza check out my pictures that go along with the review. Also one last time they were open during the major...
Read moreWe stopped by on a Friday night, expecting it to be a little busy. It's smaller than we're used to, so that didn't help. We had to ask three times for then to clean a table so our party of 5 could sit. And it went downhill from there. I tried to order s pizza; the girl ignored me and walked away. I thought she didn't hear me, so I tried again. This time, she acknowledged me, then walked away again. Hmmmmm. So on to the drinks. Rootbeer and Pibb were empty, but they fixed it when we told them. No clean spoons, but at least our table was now wiped off. The salad bar was a mess. Lots of utensils dropped upside-down in other products. Several items low or empty. Then there was another mess at the hot bar ... gravy on everything, no chicken legs for the kids. The pizza selection was ok, but we still couldn't order any pizzas. We just wanted a cheese pizza, and a taco pizza, nothing out of the ordinary. Someone else must have had the same thought, as both pizzas did make it to the buffet. The dessert pizza offerings were scarce throughout the visit, and I really wish Pizza Ranch in general would upgrade and add chocolate soft serve. We were there about an hour, and not one person came to clear plates away. I only point this out because, like so many other places now, their cash register asked me to tip when I paid. That's right. Pre-tip. For service I might receive. At a buffet. This is definitely a location we won't be...
