What a great park! Close to Midtown/Downtown and apparently not very well known as it’s always empty. There are a few Hobos, so if you’re hiking along the river keep an eye out for tarps & tents. Great for dogs.

Great place to walk up and walk along the Missouri River beautiful suspension bridge nearby Scenic City skyline up close to the higher buildings also a nice well spread out Freedom Park right next door lots of green grass good parking plenty of parking beautiful trees beautiful grass and a River City Star Restaurant and I think it's a charter boat that goes down the...

Just did a quick walkthrough to check it out while killing time for the airport. I had been there a few years before they took down a lot of the tropical decorations but there was a stage up and they were having a band that night. We'll go back and check it out sometime when I'm back...
