I leased a truck through lone mountain/cresco capital several years ago it was a used 2007 Kenworth t600 From marten transportation. I checked the truck over and found a few things that needed attention. 1 of them was an exhaust leak. The shop told the sales staff it would be a week before they could get the part. Shop agreed to repair at a later date. I had it in writing. So I take the truck to lease on with my company no issues. When I went back to have exhaust leak repaired they refused to repair it even with the written letter from the shop.
I have the truck about a week before the issues start rolling in. First it was an injector harness. 2 months later the top end comes apart warranty claim denied C 15 Cat $13000 and 3 months later I get the truck back run it for about a month and the clutch goes out. Another $2500 and another week down. 2 months later the the input shaft for the transmission lets go an trashes ihe internals of the transmission. Another $5000 and another week shot. During this time of several catastrophic failures I was able to stay pretty much current on my payments. There were a few instances where I was a week late. About a 2 months after getting the truck back from the transmission failure. I fall 1 week behind on the truck payment. (Still playing catch up on bills @ home) Cresco Capital calls me asking when they can expect payment. I give them a date of the following Friday. Well the deposit didn't hit until Monday. By the time Monday rolled around Cresco had put out a repo order on the truck. It was 9 am est when the repo man showed up at my delivery taking possession of the truck the companies trailer and my personal possessions. The repo company left me 15 miles from civilization and said good luck getting to town.. I called lone mountain/cresco capital and asked what could be done their response was write a check for the balance. I had no choice but to let them keep the truck. My advice steer clear of this company unless you have the cash on hand to pay off truck and 20 k...
Read moreFrom day one of dealing with lone mountain carter lake Iowa, it’s been a very pleasurable experience. From the time I applied which was the FIRST time I ever applie for ANYTHING, never got a loan for a car, or a house or anything before in my life, so you can imagine how nervous I was and almost didn’t apply because I thought I wouldn’t be accepted, and it almost felt better to not try than to try and get rejected like I already expected. Guess what, Lone Mountain wanted to get me in a truck, they gave me the biggest opportunity in my life, and 2 years later it’s still the biggest blessing I’ve ever received. My first in person experience was with Lindsey, she was beautiful not only in looks but even more in Spirit. She was very welcoming, patient and guided me through the process. Same with Ashley my account manager, beautiful inside and out, patient, on point, and makes me feel like she is on my team and wants to see me succeed. I have not met Shelly in person but everytime I talk to her she has a beautiful spirit, she works with me, always gives off good energy when she answers the phone. I just have to be honest, these people have been great. I truly believe in when you find good people, you speak it. You have to honor them because it’s too hard to find people who are about the right thing. You have to be about the right thing also yourself so don’t look for a good situation if you aren’t bought in to reciprocating the same energy. GO TO LONE MOUNTAIN CARTER LAKE IOWA for a successful start in truck. I Loooooooooove my truck. Has been reliable, no major issues and keeps me rolling. It’s an ALL AROUND WIN WIN SITUATION ~ Sincerely Jared Stevens

Read moreI have been a truck driver here for 5 years and before that a truck driver in Puerto Rico. I went to Shaggy's Consultant boot camp and learned a lot. My wife and I did our 2-year plan together. I went to Lone Mountain for a truck to be able to start my business. As we all know we can not have a trucking company with no truck. I explained our 2-year plan and that I was just getting started with my own authority prior to even putting in an application. Erin said it should be good because we have a business plan that they would do an interview with is. I got a call the next day for the interview of the loan. I explained our business plan to the guy who called for the interview he said he wanted to put it all down to give to his supervisor who would be making the final decision. They wanted to see how much cash we had at hand. I explained what we have and where we have it however that wasn't good enough. He even said that the credit was good but they rarely approve brand new businesses. AT NO POINT WAS THIS STATED PRIOR TO ME PUTTING IN AN APPLICATION. SO I HAVE AS N INQUIRY ON MY CREDIT REPORT FOR NOTHING WHEN I COULD HAVE WENT ELSEWHERE AND FOUND A COMPANY THAT WILL WORK WITH NEW BUSINESSES.
The sales associates taking the application should know what is required for new businesses and it also should be on their website.
They're not honest and I won't be doing business with them in the future, not recommend...
