Decent selection of seemingly random stuff. You can easily fill a cart full of awesome stuff for like $100! I typically spend $100 for two weeks worth of groceries for a single(fat) dude and for my daughter on the weekends including meat, produce, snacks, drinks, and random stuff I probably shouldn't have bought. There's always new things to try. I only converted to the aldi shopping religion 3 trips ago(6 weeks) I honestly don't see me going back to walmart. If you never have been there remember to bring a quarter to get a cart(you get it back when you return it). To get a cart just shove a quarter in the slot on the red box and the little lock will fall out. Also bring your own bags weather it be reused plastics or your own cloth bags. Load your stuff onto the belt, they will put it in a new cart, you pay then take the new cart full of your items to the giant counter just past the registers and bag up your food. Take your food to your vehicle, then return the cart. To get your quarter back all you have to do is reinsert the lock into the cart and the quarter pops out. Congrats you just shopped at aldi and didnt buy the same 6 meals you always get at wally and probably saved some cash. Ps. Try the...
Read moreAldi is a lower food cost option for people who don't mind purchasing an off brand food item for quite a bit lower cost. There is nothing wrong with this food...it is simply lower cost. This store is usually quite busy. You will need a quarter ($.25 cents) to release a cart, and when you return the cart you will receive the quarter back. Each isle`s cart direction goes one way. You cannot turn around and go the opposite direction because the isles are narrow and there is no room to turn around. There is quite a variety of food offered here, including seasonal items. You must bring your own bags or buy them when you get there, they also will not bag your groceries for you, that is your job. There is a counter provided to assist you with bagging the groceries. Once you get used to the system it is quite easy to get your shopping done and very cheaply. My family and I do our shopping here every month and save a ton of money. Give it a try, the staff is friendly and helpful, and someone is always available to answer any questions you have. There isn't any deli, but there is a variety of sliced meat and cheese available to...
Read moreWent to shop there around 5PM today which was busy and only one lane was opened to checkout. Another young lady opened a second register and checkout the guy in front of me. When I went to put my items on the belt she put up her closed sign on the belt and gave me an attitude saying "Um, I'm actually closed." What went through my head was she could have said something like "Sorry, I'm closed now but you can go onto the next lane." Also thought to myself why even bother to open her lane when she is going to just checkout one customer? Her despicable attitude and unwillingness to help check me out had resulted in me having to wait behind two people with full carts filled with groceries considering I only had six items in my cart. All I got to tell that young lady is she needs to improve on her customer...
