A Bud Tender there named Chris needs some guidance. I’ve already called and spoke with a kind gentleman on MUV’s customer service but for the benefit of everyone else I’d like to share my experience:
For starters, Hurricane Ian is on approach. And I placed an order for Trulieve just down the street. I was shocked they were open but advertised they would be open till 3pm this morning. I confirmed with customer service and placed an order there. Long story short, they closed at 1pm. Frustrating but understandable.
So, I drive by MUV and see they’re miraculously open. Super stoked to purchase some emergency medication since the rest of the week was used for hurricane prep for the house and work.
I walk into the lobby, the receptionist was super kind and asks, “pick up or walk in”? I reply, “walk in”. She then asks, “have I shopped at muv before”? And I state, “I have. And might have to be the only place I shop in the future”. I proceeded to tell her the event with trulieve, and out of no where, this BT Chris says, “well there’s a hurricane man”. Which I though he was just trying to be funny and just brushed it off…
But then he proceeded to state, “yeah we are people to”? Mind you I was not in anyway aggravated or stated anything to make him say that? So feeling a little attacked I asked for my card back and told the receptionist never mind.
I proceeded to walk out and apparently he wasn’t done voicing his unwanted opinion to me and says, “look at your shirt bro, you’re covered in rain”. I say “excuse me” and ask for his name. I leave and so did a few others in the lobby that were unhappy with his demeanor. Not sure if he’s just having a bad day but that’s NOT okay.
Your BUSINESS is to provide medication to your patients. I myself was praising YOUR orange city store for being open through an emergency situation. And you think it’s cool to voice your aggressive opinion to them? When In no way I attacked you? That’s childish and has no place in professionalism.
Not that it matters entirely but I had $350 cash ready for trulieve that I was about to spend at this location in prep for reserve medication, but it will be saved for another despensory.
Like stated, customer support was super helpful and after this state of emergency passes, I’m expected a phone call, But depending on the efforts of management at this store, I’m just gonna pick up from suttera down the way or stick with deliveries.
Thanks for your time and hope my experience helps make this place better.
Ps. Hope whatever this Chris guy was going through gets better for him. Take...
Read moreThe staff is awesome. I think I’ve dealt with Katherine mostly, and she’s always so unbelievably cheerful and sweet, but not in that weird way that makes me want to escape. Really, everyone I’ve ever dealt with here, without exception, has been very pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable, and QUICK. I can usually place my order, leave the house almost immediately, and I get the confirmation that it’s ready before I arrive. Even when I’ve been a jerk and showed up before getting a notification, they pull some voodoo magic and get me outa there in about 7 minutes. My big (but not only) problem with the competitor down the street is that it takes SOOOOOO LOOOONG sometimes, and I often get a call 3-5 hours after placing my order that my desired item is not in stock. Even when I’ve done walk-ins at this MÜV location, they get me in and out.
The product is very, very good, far preferable to the McDonalds-like place down the street. I mostly buy flower, and it’s always fresh, and when it’s the “premium,” the buds are always nice and chunky.
The physical space is pleasant as well…Chill, comfortable, properly lit. I’m not sure why more dispensaries don’t make this more of a priority. One of the (many) reasons I use cannabis is to aid in my struggle with anxiety. The last thing my carbonated brain needs when picking up medicine is to sit in a brightly lit room with no sound absorption, sound bouncing all over making it seem like there’s 40 people in the room when there are 3. It feels like a Kubrick film. I realize that I don’t process environments like most people do, but I can’t be the only one for whom such an experience is the aural equivalent of chewing on foil.
THE WEBSITE IS ACCURATE. They have what they say they have, and it’s the THC percentage they say it is. I’m not going to imply that the other place is engaging in intentional bait-and-switch tactics, but Jeez Louise, get it together.
My only problem is in no way MÜV specific, but rather a problem with the retail cannabis industry as a whole: All that single use plastic. So much. C’mon, MÜV, you’re awesome at everything else, lead the charge here. Put more stuff in glass, charge a deposit on the...

The staff remain as helpful and cheerful as 5 months ago BUT the product and availablility have defenitely gone down. Vapes dont work half the time and that means driving back to get a replacement (5 times in the last 4 weeks), their delivery computer system is not reliable. Puts your address backwards and assigns the incorrect dispensary. Customer service says they are also having issues, to try and place the delivery order but they cant guarantee it. No thanks not acceptable for a company that makes millions of dollars in sales. Fix your vape carts, as well as your delivery computer system. Guess I will go to another dispensary that has all their ducks in a row. I had been wondering why this location has lost most of their staff, now I am seeing theyre tired of hearing customer complaints.
5 months ago: What a wonderful experience. I had been going to their competitor, trulieve and the difference is amazing. The wait time was only 3 minutes, their staff is cheerful and informative (unlike other disp.that is rushed because they are short staffed), they display available products, pricing and all available discounts on large screens in the waiting room. 5...
