I gave one star because I had to enter something to get to review...otherwise there would be NO star. We ordered a delivery order and were told it would be 45 minutes...in the wait time my daughter recalculated the order and according to her we were over charged. She politely called back to ask about the miscalculations and she was told China Star had a new menu and prices had changed. After about an hour and fifteen minutes we called back to inquire were are meals were and we were told the delivery had already left and would be there shortly. Almost an hour and a half after our order call was placed, the delivery driver finally knocked on the door. After ALL the anticipation, ALL our meals were cold. We reheated everything and ate. The food was simply awful. I don't usually call and complain about bad service but I thought this was.. Ridiculous! So I went ahead and called, I asked to speak to a manager. Eric was the manager I spoke to...Eric was extremely rude and argumentative. I explained how the food was late getting here...he proceeded to tell me there was "No Way ". I offered to show him the phone record. On top of this I explained to Eric that our food was cold and awful. Eric asked me what I wanted him to do about it. Eric then proceeded to rudely tell me that they get complaints From us EVERYTIME we order. I told him to check his records because we have never ever complained. Eric argued with me for about three minutes. What happened to " the customer is always right"? Eric finally said he would refund my money. I told him because of this incident and his rudeness....We Will Never Order From China Star Again, he said "Oh well". And get this, with China Star's "New menu" they still overcharged us two dollars. My fortune cookie said: 'You are...
Read moreas I walked into China Star at 8:24 in the middle of the night I heard a faint voice in my head, it was Eric. You all might have heard only bad things from Eric, these things are not true! I walked into China Star and there was a throne, encrusted with exotic jewls from Asia and Africa, and with a base of 24k Gold. Eric quickly walked out of the back and was surrounded fully by an army of holy men, I quickly ran to my knees and cried, I tried to hold back my sobs by holding in my breath so he wouldn’t hear my whimpering. I quickly then said to the God, “Eric your holiness, I come here humbled and honored to start a following in your name”. The God chuckled and said, “I have sent you a prophet, I have given you a home, I have given you the very air you breath, why should i ever give a filthy, sinful man like you the right to start a following in my name!” I said with a slight smirk, “Because, I am sinful, and so is everyone else, we are created that way for your emusment, and to inform people in your name, will enhance our knowledge of sinfulness, therefor expanding our knowledge and completing the meaning of life for the mortal race” God then smiled and quickly spit at my feet, he said “Eat It” I quickly got on my hands and knees and liked it up off of the tile like floor, he the God finally then finished his conversation with me by saying, “you sinful creature, I have given you followers and I have given you my holy necture, all you need know is a church”
I was spontaneously teleported as I felt my body quickly changing form, I felt the sin leave my body and I felt the holiness fill my body. I finally knew that, the God has given me my freedom, to help the universe and the cosmos...
Read moreI don't know why this is labeled under China Star, this review was for the Jade restaurant in Orange City which closed not long after this review. We actually like China Star and order from them often!🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️Had the worst experience there today and will not be back...I have been going there for years and always order the same thing... hot and sour soup and a spring roll. When I tried to place my order today I was informed that they were not McDonald's or Burger King and that I needed to spend at least $5 to eat at their establishment. Since I only had a $5 bill on me and no extra for tax, I knew that I would have to put it on a debit or credit card. She then informed me that I would have to spend $10 in order to use a card...I have a digestive issue that prevents me from eating more than a small amount of food at one sitting ( which is why I only order soup and a spring roll) I wound up ordering two lunch specials to reach the $10 card min. and be able to have my soup... feeling like I had been forced to order food and spend money unnecessarily I had already decided I was not going to leave a tip ( I always leave a tip) and again was treated rudley when she confronted me about the $0 in the tip line. I have never been to a restaurant and been told that I needed to spend a certain amount of money in order to patronize their...
