
My parents worked for the railroad in Orange a total of 80 years! Dad worked just north of town in Echo where trains could switch out cars. Mom sold tickets to ride the train, used morse code to take and send messages to trains for 29 years at the Orange station and the bay window facing the tracks was her office.
