Kajun Seafood & Wings -Orange,Tx — Restaurant in Orange

How can anyone think this place is even halfway decent? I feel like I need a hepatitis test after eating here. There is really no service. You order at the counter, the drinks are in the cooler, and there is not wait service.

I ordered unsweetened tea, none was available. After I ordered and sat, I had to go back to the counter to ask about our drinks (water for me, coke for my son) to be told we needed to get our own from the cooler.

The food came out and I asked about silverware, "oh, you have to get it from the counter." Literally, forks sitting out in the open where who knows who's sneezed on it.

Then the food. I'll give them this, my grilled shrimp was decent. The salad was nothing but yellow lettuce drenched in ranch. My son's fried shrimp were awful. Thin little crappy shrimp over breaded, over cooked. He also got gumbo, which was seriously brown gravy with bits of chicken and sausage.

Then, I had to go to the bathroom. The lights to get back there were out, I had to use the flashlight on my phone. The entire floor was sticky down the hallway. To top it off, no TP in the bathroom.

This place is gross and should be inspected by the health department...

Small ,unassuming place . Not much to look at, no table service , a little dingy inside. Food is good though. Great catfish and shrimp. Our family tried a lot of different dishes. Pork chops were really good. If it wasn't for the dead tree roach in the restroom I would have given it more stars ..... Update!! The filth of the place is concerning!!! 4/20/19. No toilet paper in rest room, sink looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks ,whole restaurant floor is sticky with some unknown substance. Food is nothing special and the table had not been cleaned in a while. Service is slow and super disintrested in whether or not you are satisfied. We will certainly never...

Ordered two orders of salt and pepper wings to share with co-workers. They have the very best. It's all I've ever had from there. Always pippin hot, fresh, extra crispy and seasoned to protection. The grass( onions, red pepper flakes and jalapenos) they serve on top of it is yummy as well. Cost for order of corn nuggets, two 10piece wings with fries...$18. and change.
