Pitcher Park — Attraction in Orange

Nice little park! The landscape is beautiful and maintained very well. There's a little path that goes through the park with some plaques and signs that describes what you're looking at and also talks about the history of the park. All I know is that this used to be owned by the pitcher family. In the late 80's the wife donated her land to the city after her husband died. She specifically wanted her land to be a park for the people to enjoy. You can see a lot of history in the barn that is in the center of the park. Beautiful quiet park in a gorgeous neighborhood. Park was full of live with squirrels, birds, and insects. Very Clean and a wonderful spot to take photos. Sat here for an hour and read a book, it was a good afternoon. Park is very small and probably not the best place to bring a small child to. There is no playground but they do have restrooms.
