Soulland Lab — Attraction in Orange

Great birthday outing for a fun, little activity. Would be cool if you could order a paint by numbers of a pic to be produced in advance that you could then paint there (the option I saw was to take home, and didn't want to do that), or if you could see a catalog in advance and pick your canvas before you get there. Ended up being about $120 for 2 of us (reservation + cost of canvases), so will only be a special occasion thing to do, but was low-key relax fun, especially since we chose a time we were the only people there (I don't like crowds). Also, Google says they're closed on Mondays...They're not, almost gave me a heart attack when I went to get directions from Google while on the way there and I had already had a reservation...

Absolutely love Soulland Lab! This new gem in Old Town Orange has transformed the old comic bookstore into a vibrant communal space for creativity. The atmosphere is so chill and calming, making it the perfect spot to unwind and express your creativity.

The options for painting are fantastic—from painting ceramics to paint by numbers to tote bags, and I love that the original artists receive a portion of the royalties. It really adds a unique touch to the experience and the goal of supporting local artists.

This is your next date spot in Orange County! At Soulland Lab, you don’t have to be the “artsy type” to come away with a masterpiece. Each canvas comes with a pre-sketched outline and all you have to do is just paint in the colors!

What sets Soulland apart is that there are so many choices in pop culture than your typical sunset or waterfall. Sometimes at paint and sips, you can feel rushed but here, you can go at your own pace.
