Love the daily specials... especially with spring and summer as ideas. Delicious inspiration. Well known for Stellar & Tasty Adult A.M. Cocktails🍹 Staff is outstanding...can get busy but they do fantastic job remembering the lil things & always w/ a smile:)) We are thoroughly enjoying great weather this weekend July 18 2025. Perfect for patio!

The Customer Service is positively outstanding🤙 Absolutely stellar spot for soaking in Old Towne Orange 🍊 and some of best people watching 👀 spots in SoCal. Corner location on Glassell Street & Maple Avenue is directly across from The City of Orange Plaza ⏺️ Square Historical 📃 District. Again, Epic People Watching Spot ALL Day🌞 long!

We always have The Filling ⛽ Station 🍽️ on our permanent weekly dine out rotation. Luv how walking is like goin back in time. Interior is just as great as patio. One of our Go-2 spots. Really enjoy sitting on patio that has huge multi-colored umbrella 🏖️ 's fore tons of shade. Great tree & covering helps 2. Best of all is such a prime spot for Old Towne Orange 🍊 "people watching." Plus our puppy luv's goin here 2... usually meets a friend 🐕 Food is delicious and the staff makes You smile:)) Street parking is limited but there r multiple city of Orange 🍊 🅿️-ing lots near The Filling ⛽ Station that are free. Handicap spots r close as well. Great with special orders. The Brunch/AM cocktails are stellar! Wonderful surprise 🍹 👌 Has solid bike rack. Also hav special place & goodies along with drinking bowl for animals. We always feel very welcome here! Again, the people watching is rather awesome 👍 Especially on patio corner tables. again couple City of Orange 🍊 🅿️-ing lots r very close to diner. Highly Recommend......

First and foremost this place should be called the Waiting Station because our party waited two hours for less than sub par service & food!! This was NOT the first time we had been to this place, so we decided to celebrate my cousin’s b-day here; however, had we known how terrible it’d turn out it would have sufficed eating at Mickey D’s. We arrived at 10:40 & didn’t end up being seated till 12:40!! And that is just the tip of the iceberg! They seated us in the back corner of the place where our party of eleven didn’t even fit. We EXPLICITLY told them various times of our large party & they STILL proceeded to squeeze us in a four person table along with a pull out table & there was still four unseated people. One of the staff went to the back brought back one of the most shoddiest rickety of pull out tables you can imagine & proceeded to make us believe that that thing would stay up (& that was without food sitting atop of it) Meanwhile there was a heater wedged between my sister & I. My uncle & mother were very dissatisfied with this shoddy attempt at placating us & proceeded to let someone else know of their failure to seat us correctly. We were eventually moved to a bigger more accommodating table, but the crap experience doesn’t end there. Not only are you rushed through with the ordering, you feel as though you are on a time crunch to finish your food & get out. I would have given it a better review had the food, customer service, SOMETHING made up for the OVERALL terrible experience. AND what is worse is that whoever is the owner of the locale reads these reviews & continues to do ANYTHING about it!! Maybe if someone were to mention ALL the fire hazards (I.e placing our large party in a corner where there wasn’t an exit in case of fire) whilst having stand up heaters going in an enclosed area touching polyester umbrellas (with visible charring marks on them) or the fact that there is ONE bathroom for THE WHOLE LOT!! ONE!! The day we went (1/25/25) it was at MAX capacity, maybe 100+ people there. My aunt waited 20+ min to use it. UNACCEPTABLE!! So if you’re thinking of going here for breakfast DON’T-go elsewhere & save yourself...

Finally got to try this cafe this past weekend. I came here with a large group of friends for brunch for a birthday celebration. It was terribly hot yesterday, so I was hoping to sit by the patio but the place was packed. My friends told me to get any table available because The Filling Station is a hot spot in Orange.

We were seated in about 45 minutes, which is apparently not too bad. The interior of the place is vintage looking with early 1900 (maybe 1800, not sure) decor. As for drinks, I went with the bottomless mimosas (orange). It wasn't bad but definitely not great. I won't be ordering it again. Would of been nice if it was cold and served in a glass, but I guess that's just me being picky. Anyways, I ended ordering the "Eggs Florentine" with roasted potatoes. The food rather long to come out but understandable it was packed and we had a large group.

Once the food arrived, it was time for business. Everything looked great and boy ole' boy was it good. The eggs cooked with the spinach, cheese, bacon, on a muffin was just heaven. It went from a loud table to silence because we were all enjoying our meals. I felt bad for those who wanted waffles and toast because they ran out, but the substitute of fruit looked fresh and delicious.

The service was excellent. For a large table of 12 people, the server offered to split up the bills. We also noticed the servers did the calculations by hand, felt kind of bad but it all worked out. I can see why locals and people travel quite a bit for The Filling Station. The food is DELICIOUS and worth the wait. I plan on coming back soon because my friend's steak and eggs looked so good....
