The menu is full of original creations...sooi delicious and Staff so fantastic this has become our go to spot. Especially when traveling family or friends are in town. People Watching almost as terrific as the Yummy meals. From almond encrusted French toast - Corned Beef 🍖 Hash and egg 🍳 it's all same high end quality ingredients that r very fresh ...defly makes difference in taste. Lot of healthy options as well. All the eggs 🥚 Benedict options are stellar... especially the California w/ avocado 🥑.
Also great for handi-CAPABALE folks. Patio is perfect or the counter. Alsonstaff will accommodate just about any request cuz so kind. Restroom 🚻 is a straight line 2 back of building.
Staff again shows how competent & courteous they really R!
The cuisine is so great it's hard to describe or choose just 1 entree. We usually try to order a different dish each and then we all share...it's pretty heavenly from a calorics standpoint:)) But i usually go fore the stuffed almond shaved French toast or sumthin with that's stuffed with Nutella 🍫. Others digg the more traditional breakfast fare. Gravy is stellar. Nice spot 2 just sit at counter w/ paper 🗞️ & coffee 2 start any day. Extremely child and family friendly. Very Pet Friendly...all kinds. All the dishes are 4,5 or above... seriously. Great Coffee ☕ as well. Love sitting outside w/ Puppy ( again very animal 🐕 friendly) and enjoying 1 of best people watching spots 🦒 👀 in Socal.
We really enjoy Kimmie's for so many reasons. Humbly suggest You discover this Old Towne Orange 🍊 Gem 💎 of a Breakfast -cenfric restaurant. Enjoy all the Yummy-ness...
Read moreKimmie's Coffee Cup wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing either. I'd give it more of a 2.5.
The servers were friendly and nice, which was good. At first, one of the servers seemed very standoffish, but she was much nicer later on. Food came out in a pretty timely manner. No complaints about the service.
The food was mostly bland, but it didn't taste bad. My husband ordered the OC Scrambler, I ordered the Patty Melt with the fruit, and we ordered the Kids Scrambler for our toddler.
My food was good, but a little bland and greasy. The burger patty had very little flavor. I had to wipe my hands a lot because of how much grease there was in the grilled bread. The fruit cup was good, despite that the blueberries were drying. Everything still had pretty good flavors to them.
Husband liked his food, but he also pointed out that I could make the exact meal for our entire family of five for the same price he got a single serving. I tried it, and it was good, but nothing spectacular. It was also very bland.
Our toddler's food was also pretty bland. The scrambled egg was just an unseasoned omelet that had been chopped to appear scrambled. There was also no seasoning on the potatoes, which were slightly burnt. I'm totally okay with, and actually enjoy, a little charring on potatoes, but that doesn't work the same with most kids. The lack of seasoning was almost made up for with the incredibly salty bacon slice (I know bacon is salty, but this was more than just normal bacon saltiness). The toast was good, though. Our toddler just ate my fruit and wouldn't eat more than a bite of her own food, except the toast, even though she otherwise eats what we ordered.
I probably wouldn't come back here unless I was really hungry and couldn't find anything. They would be a whole lot better with just a little seasoning added to...
Read moreId give one star but at least the short haired brunette girl was kind when she refilled water and the 30-40's year old dirty blonde lady wearing a pink hoodie was nice when she (or anyone FINALLY) took my card to pay. My servers name was apparently Brenda (young blonde) Not my first experience with her but boy is she incredibly inattentive and makes no effort to make eye contact or offer ANY kind of (even) decent customer service. Never smiles. I cannot stand paying for food and service and having such a poor experience. I could listen to her talk about her classes for nursing she's taking and what not only two feet away behind the counter with the other ladies working there, but heaven forbid she come and ask me if I needed anything (or even look my way). I kept waiting for an opportunity to get her attention to get a box to go but I just sat there bewildered. My wife liked it there and I just don't get it. I definitely won't be back. Told my wife about my experience this morning and she also says she's had a couple recent bad experiences and will also not be returning. Brenda doesn't want to be there so please encourage her to find something she likes. FYI Brenda, being a sever is some of the best training you can get to prepare you to be a good nurse. It's all there. Introducing yourself. Asking what there needs are. Returning with needs. Following up if there are any others needs through out your shift. Smiling. Customer service. Multitasking. Trust me. If you hate being a server. You're going to hate being a nurse. PS, I'm a registered nurse. Anyhow, all three of my experiences were the same. Order taken, then neglected for the rest of the experience. Hope you guys huddle and emphasize smiling and following up with your...
