I recently visited Hallmark after years of not shopping there, inspired by my mother-in-law's positive experience at Werner's Hallmark in the Macomb area. She had found some charming gifts and a delightful magazine from the store, making it seem like a wonderful place to discover unique items.
However, my own visit left me feeling disappointed. Upon entering, I was greeted with a friendly hello, but unfortunately, the customer service seemed to end there. As I browsed the store, I couldn't help but overhear conversations among the staff discussing former coworkers and making personal comments that made me uncomfortable, including remarks about my parenting skills.
When I sought assistance in locating specific items, I was met with a response that suggested the store's current selection was all that was available.
