Pita Way - Lake Orion Mediterranean — Restaurant in Lake Orion

My only complaint with this place, is that of the 3 times that I've been here, they've screwed up my order in some way or another, or left something out. This time it was giving me a Detroit Falafel, instead of a Detroit Chicken, even though I sat there and told them how much I like dark meat chicken, more than white meat, and that the health benefits are very negligible, for the difference in taste.

I've recently gone from a "See Food" diet, to being very health conscious, after letting my body go to crap, and having a near death experience with a close call with a heart attack. A hectic life schedule, and several injuries that have caught up with me, and slowed me down, really took their toll on me.

Having discovered a few of these stores along my traveled paths has helped me lose 85 pounds, in 7 months, and as I'm getting closer to my goal, I can feel the changes in my body, even though I am a broken down mule, that's almost ready to be put down. Either that, or be rebuilt, and I have several issues that need to be addressed, surgically, but I've had nothing but bad luck with surgeries in the past, and have watched family members become crippled by other surgeries. Even after being vigilant about rehab.

Anyway, I'm thankful that this place exists, I just wish that they could listen, and get my order right. I guess I'll have to help them make it, instead of moving out of the way for the next customer, next time I'm at this store. And my problems have only been at this individual store. That's why they lose a star. Otherwise, the people are always pleasant, and the food is always great, even if it's not...

We love Pita Way for a number of reasons. The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff is always super friendly and engaging and offering up tips on how to best enjoy the menu. Today's experience however, went above and beyond! I ordered the mini family combo, paid for my order and then waited while it was prepared. Once ready, Jacob bagged everything up and as doing so, he went through my order to make sure I had everything which is when I realized I forgot to order pita chips which is our favorite and in our opinion, a must have added "crunch". So Jacob rang me up for the pita chips, doctored up my hummus and I headed home excited for dinner. I get home and was totally bummed to find that somehow the pita chips never made it in the bag. I called the store to simply ask that it be noted to my account so next time they can be added to my order. They were great, apologetic and it was noted to my account. A minute later, my phone rings. It's Jacob. He is calling to let me know he is on his way to my home to personally deliver the missing pita chips. I thanked him for the generous offer but explained it was completely unnecessary. You HAVE to try this place! Their website makes their choices seem so limited but their flavor is out if this world. It's comparable to a burrito place where you choose the type of construction (wrap, bowl, meat or vegetarian) then go from there. All of the meats are freshly cooked and full of flavor. I've been lucky enough to keep getting coupons to do their BOGO option in which I've had their wraps and bowls, in which I have had one bowl or wrap with lamb (ALWAYS have to have lamb) and the other with one of their types of chicken or beef. All of the extras are included, fresh and delicious. Their catering option is perfect for a family size or business luncheon. There's something for everyone, no matter their pallet or taste, I highly recommend it all...
