update gave Cottage Inn - Lake Orion another try and saw some improvement. Still a lot of people standing around on their phones but they were able to hit their estimated order time for the first time. Food was fine.

Previous: Listen, I tried. I've liked Cottage Inn in the past and the first time that I ordered and our pizzas were half an hour later then the app estimated, I gave them a break. They're new. But now almost 2 weeks later we are still dealing with the same thing. People standing around, nobody being proactive. Meanwhile our order is sitting on the rack and they tell us to go back and wait in line instead of just giving us our pizza (which was supposed to be done almost 20 minutes previously and was already paid for). They literally don't know what's going on and when you ask them they give a litany of excuses instead of being accountable. I wouldn't bother, maybe in 6 months. Now i usually don’t leave reviews but this establishment is full of individuals with good hearts and even better pizza. Without fail every single time I come in to order I am greeted with a smile, quick service and come out with delicious, fresh pizza. Not to mention, the amazing cinnamon sticks that practically melt in your mouth which keep me coming back for more. You can tell the pizza is fresh and dough is made in house, it’s crispy and delicious. ESPECIALLY with garlic butter added on the crust. The menu is very diverse as they have literally everything you could want. Whether i want a classic pepperoni or more complex pizza like a chicken artichoke it always comes out perfect. I ordered online using the cottage inn website. I also waited a couple of weeks after opening to let them get any bugs out of their service.

Service time was about 15 min from order to pickup. 5 stars. It was very fast.

Pizza 1 I ordered a medium with pep, mush, extra sauce and garlic cheese crust. My pizza did not have the garlic cheese crust. The toppings level was good for the pepperoni, but lacking for the mushrooms. The crust was not great, being quite cardboardy. The cheese was thick, but a bit greasy.

Pizza 2 My wife ordered a gluten free with artichokes, mushrooms and sweet red peppers. She got red onions instead of peppers. The gluten free crust was good.
